They have seven courts and offer open play. First thing that caught my attention was how fast and lack of bounce the balls were traveling down the court. The court concrete is polished smooth and using a Selkirk type of ball with a power paddle, those balls are traveling fast! Took a bunch of plays to get use to the speed and bounce of the ball. The open play isn't divided to play levels so you can be in a high level or low level game randomly, can be intimidating for newbies. This place is definitely a good pay play place to try. The owner Leslie was very nice and helpful to get me started with signing the wavier and into playing.

I believe the premium we are paying for the gym is particularly for the cleanliness which after being at 24 hour fitness and la fitness, I understand how disgusting those places can be. There are plenty of fields and having indoor space is valuable. That's about where my praise ends. The biggest problem is the coaching. Youth soccer should be about development. Teaching fundamentals, correcting mistakes, building confidence and making sure every child gets meaningful instruction. Instead, the quality depends almost entirely on which coach your child gets. Some are engaged. Others seem distracted, chatting with each other while the session runs itself. Too many practices turn into kids standing around or playing small scrimmages with very little coaching, correction or individual feedback. Parents aren't paying to rent field space. They're paying for instruction. The environment doesn't help. Parking is consistently frustrating, the building gets uncomfortably hot and the indoor fields often have that stale turf smell that hits you the moment you walk in. The front desk also sets the wrong tone. Most visits start with staff sitting behind the counter without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment. For a place built around families and young kids, that's disappointing. One thing that continues to surprise me is how little attention is paid to what's happening around the active classes. I've regularly seen parents, older siblings and other family members juggling balls and kicking them around right next to training sessions. It's distracting for the kids who are actually there to learn and no one seems interested in managing it. What frustrates me most is that this carries the LA Galaxy name. You expect a higher standard of coaching, organization and professionalism. Instead, it feels inconsistent from top to bottom. If you happen to get one of the good coaches, you'll probably have a positive experience. If you don't, you've simply lost weeks or months of development. For a program representing one of the biggest soccer brands in America, "hopefully you get a good coach" shouldn't be the business model.

The manager, Andreas Forslund, explicitly told my friend that although the original party slot was 2-4 PM, we could stay until 6 PM because there were no other events scheduled. Based on that assurance, food was ordered, guests were invited, and families planned their afternoon around that timeframe. At 4:20 PM, a man who had booked the venue for 4:30 PM approached our party raising his voice, aggressively demanding that we leave. This happened in front of guests and children. Shockingly, Shoot 360 staff did absolutely nothing to intervene or de-escalate the situation. They allowed this man to continue yelling at our group. We were then forced to pack up immediately!!Guests were sent home without eating, and the cake wasn't even cut. The families literally left hungry. The celebration was abruptly ended with zero notice, despite what the manager had promised. Only after the damage was done did Andreas Forslund state that the general manager rented out the space without his knowledge. That internal miscommunication is not the customer's responsibility! Yet we were the ones who paid the price. To make matters worse, my friend was not reimbursed despite them completely ruining an important milestone birthday. This was an embarrassing, chaotic, and heartbreaking way to conduct business. Poor communication, no accountability, no customer care, and no respect for families or children. Do not book parties here. If something goes wrong, they will not protect your event or take responsibility.

They've raised their prices 30-40% every year for the last few years without good justification. This feels somewhat abusive. Maintenance is severely lacking. Several of the exercise bikes have been out of order. I reported these months ago to the club, but nothing has been done to fix them. The laminated beams supporting the bridge to the yard area are delaminating and full of dry rot because they haven't been maintained or painted for so long. I'm a licensed general contractor, and in my opinion, unless maintenance is done soon it's just a matter of time before this bridge fails. Everywhere you look something is rusting, needs cleaning, or needs to be painted. I've been a member here for many years, but I won't be renewing due to the lack of maintenance and increased pricing. The only thing that might slow down their price increases is if enough members cancel their memberships or refuse to renew. I've also heard they retaliate against members who leave honest reviews, so we'll see what happens and I'll be sure to update my review if I feel like there's any retaliation.

The adult swim classes are organized by skill level: Total new swimmers are Guppies (that was me!), and the next levels up in order are Minnows (my second class!), Sharks, and Advanced Beginners. Advanced Beginners, really? Surely you can all think of another cool marine animal name! I vote Swordfish. You're welcome ;) Anyway, my Guppies instructor was Ashton and he was wonderful. He helped me get over my initial fear of putting my face in the water (believe me, it was a huge fear of mine and this was a HUGE deal), and he gave me the basic foundations for freestyle and backstroke swimming. After that class, I enjoyed it so much that I joined again, this time in the Minnows class under the instruction of Matt. Matt was also amazing! He took the skills I learned in Ashton's class and helped me and others fine-tune them. He also taught us more strokes like breaststroke, sidestroke, and dolphin kick. When I first set foot in this pool, I could barely blow bubbles in the water. By the end of two class sessions, I was swimming a good few laps nonstop. If you've ever thought about taking up swimming, I HIGHLY recommend taking the classes here. The prices are crazy good and the instructors are awesome! As for the facility, it's really great for an outdoor pool! Sure, you'll find a few stray foliage from the surrounding palm trees, maybe a dead bee once in a blue moon, but that's not entirely unusual for an outdoor pool. It's clear that they never let the pool get so dirty that it's uncomfortable to swim in it, and I really appreciate that. I live in a housing complex with an outdoor pool and our HOA doesn't do that, heh. The water is also very warm--I've gone swimming in below 60F weather and have been totally fine for the rest of the night. Anyway, this is a great solid pool and I'll be coming here for my swim workouts all the time. Another big shout out and thanks to Ashton and Matt, you guys are the best!

We recently decided to look for a tennis clinic that offered a bit more in terms of quality of instruction and development philosophy. I happened across the Ramp Tennis website and drove the family down one Friday just to see what the program was all about. The next Monday, we returned and have been going ever since. My son is a very shy kid and usually does not like to join in activities with a bunch of kids he doesn't know. He found the coaches (and the other kids) very welcoming. He really likes his coaches and enjoys playing with the other kids who all seem to share a love for the game of tennis. The facilities are first class - it is the USTA Training Center - West located at the StubHub Center. There are a bunch of very nice hard courts and 4 green clay courts which the kids absolutely LOVE.
