My son plays here often for futsal games and we have no complaints . The restrooms are usually always clean. The courts are kept up . They have a snack bar and sometimes other vendors will be selling açaí Bowls or other stuff . They usually have private parties when we're there on the weekends so parking can get bad . I do wish they had a bigger parking lot , but we got used to parking down the street . My son likes playing here and it's a great facility for kids sports . read more

The last couple of years we have been attending 4th of July fireworks from this field. It's a great gathering spot, turf grass so you don't have to worry about allergies to sitting or laying down. Food truck were available across the street. Continues trivia activities throughout the evening to keep guests interacting and having a good time. There was a photo spot as well set up by the City. Part of the field was structure for kids to play soccer. Overall a great venue. Wish they had more restroom for next year, because there was a long line all evening for those wanting to use the facilities read more

The LA Galaxy Soccer Center is a hidden gem if you have a child who is into sports. Do not let the name fool you because you can also play other sports within the facility. They have volleyball courts, ping pon tables, soccer fields, etc.. I found out about this place because my daughter is a volleyball player and her school, unfortunately, does not have a gym. They play outdoors but her team moved to the playoffs and the playoff tournament was going to take place at LA Galaxy soccer center. Her coach was able to rent a court so they can practice indoors to prepare for the tournament. I thought that was a great idea! You're able to rent a field or court and you can reserve it online. You can also host a party or host a different event there as well. They have a concession stand and plenty of seating for parents. I think it's a really great concept especially if your child is into sports. They have their own parking lot and they also have lots of street parking as well. My only small issue would be the bathroom. They could be a little bit more cleaner, but I feel that bathrooms at any sports facility are kind of not the prettiest. read more

My son has been coming here since he is 3 years old and is now about to be 10. I remember last week everyone got a certificate and my son did not at the end of his training. I went to the office and they never got this resolved. My son has several of this certificates but is the point. The next week i got sick so i was sending my daughter to take my son, the guy told my son "if your mom does not pay you cant come in". Its been so many years and i never been late or missed a payment. This is the kind of senority you get in this place. I guess after years of loyalty it all comes down to straight business. read more

I center here and she didn't come back for hours. Probably because she was playing indoor at this place, one of the very best indoor arenas for soccer in Los Angeles, and one of my faves. Great surfaces, but high prices which is why I deduct a star. I always enjoyed playing here a lot more than playing outdoor in LA though. This center belongs to the LA Galaxy and what a great organization it is. And a great team. Not just the best team in the US... but the best in the Galaxy. Although some seasons they're just not good... then they're the LA Galaxadaisical. The Los Angeles Galaxy are one of the classic clubs of Major League Soccer. They've been around since the very beginning. I've seen them play on a number of occasions and I think they're awesome. Carlos Ruiz was always my favorite but David Beckham of course as well. Those are the true legends of the club. And let's not forget when Landon Donovan came down and did the California betrayal (he was always an Earthquake) and then managed to win a whole lot of stuff with them (as he had with San Jose), and carry the team for a while. Everyone here is usually very nice especially the coaches. You can tell they have a lot of patience with the kids. Unfortunately coach Bella in the age group for 5-6 is not professional. It would be appreciated if she wore less revealing bottoms. Her shorts were way too short last practice and I believe this is not the place for it. We have been doing the age 2 - 3 class The coach was amazing !!! Then we did the 3-4 class as she got older. coach Rivka and Shawn are HORRIBLE!! The girl has ZERO patience and has an attitude. They both didn't help my daughter at all when she was struggling or needed help. I couldn't stand and watch anymore and we walked out the class and spoke with the front desk ladies to change our class. I hope we have a better experience. We love soccer I don't want her to stop and she doesn't either! I told my daughter she did amazing and the class just ended a little earlier this time. Great place to learn soccer for kids. They have indoor playing areas and great instructors for kids. The classes are reasonably priced and they focus more on skills than actual competitions, unlike many other places which just focus on games and do very little to help kids with skills but focus more on competitions. Honestly "hit and miss". My son has probably done every program here and sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it's not. It's really contingent upon the coach and group of kids (neither of which are predictable). I would suggest that the coaches have more training on teaching sportsmanship/bullying. There doesn't seem to be a consistent standard or rubric that the coaches are trained with and more of a "ride by the seats of our pants" approach. read more

Signed up my sons for summer Futsal league at the LA Galaxy Soccer Center after getting their email. The Galaxy email said the kids would improve their soccer skills, compete and have fun. They were guaranteed at least 10 games including playoffs. What I didn't know was that the kids who signed were put on one team and they would play against Club Teams from the Southbay. So each game against the club teams was pretty much the same. The club teams 15 and our team 0. How is that competitive, fun and going to improve their soccer skills?? And every game the kids got a new coach and some of the coaches wouldn't say a word! The kids were on their own and even the Club Teams were getting bored scoring so much. Both my sons asked me to NEVER sign them up again for futsal. Our friends who were on the team also said they would never sign up for Futsal again. What a disappointment!!!!!! read more

This review is for Galaxy Juniors! Coach Linda is just awesome! She makes every child feel welcome & special - and she makes me, as a parent, feel that she isn't just doing "her job" she is actually very passionate about what she does. She's always smiling & has a great attitude! My son really bonded with her & she always made time to listen. This is something that I really appreciated coming from her because in other soccer clubs, if my son or any other child would try to be silly with the coach or even try to ask something, the coach would pat them in the back, smile or nod and then walk away. Working with kids this age isn't for everyone but i'm so glad we met Coach Linda. She makes it such a fun environment & at the end of class all the kids just want to hug her when they're saying good-bye. Parking: They have 2 lots. We have been coming here since my daughter was four years old and took a break for a long time, but she recently showed interest again, so we're back. When children enroll in the classes, they're supposed to get a t-shirt to wear throughout the season. This is week five, halfway through already, and the youth t-shirts still haven't come in. Employees at the front desk keep saying that they're not in yet, and no one can give an update on the delivery status. Clearly not a priority, but families should get wha they paid for. My daughter is also the only girl in the class, and it would have been considerate of the person who registered her to mention that to us because if we had known, we would have signed her up for a different day and time where she would feel more comfortable. read more

My son just finished his second U10 soccer training tonight. I've already signed him up for the next session. The staff here are all very nice & professional. The coaches really give the kids a workout. My son really didn't have any experience playing , but he really wanted to learn. The coaches here are awesome!!!! My 7 year old has done the junior galaxy program twice here. It was so good for him to see if he liked soccer in a small non competitive group. Some of the coaches are better than others. Kevin was our fav. So good with the young kids. When we first started going our son had a really aggressive older girls in his group. She would kick the other kids to take the ball from her own teammates. Kevin never missed a beat and would correct her every time. He was sympathetic to the other parents concerns and was on top of the situation always. read more

Here is my breakdown on the good and the bad.. the good: 1. The indoor soccer facilities are the best in socal 2. The teachers are excellent for a small group focusing on skills needed to play the game 3. Administration are top notch. I scheduled a free class for my 4 year old twin, came on the wrong day and they still fit me in. Secondly, I broke my foot and they gave me credit no hassle. The bad: 1. Its on the expensive side, $20 a class. They give a small sibling discount. It's still almost $40 for my twins for an hour. ( I think it justify the costs, something to consider) there is also a $25 membership fee per person per year. No big deal. They do give a shirt to each student 2. If you wanted game play for kids the ayso is good for that. I do believe la galaxy with ayso would create great soccer development. 3. The location was far for me. I signed my 6 yo daughter up for basketball summer camp during a sale. The price was unbeatable -- $99 for a one week from 9 am to 3 pm. Now I know why it was so dirt cheap. During the little orientation they had at the beginning of the week the director, Ryan, spent at least 30 minutes talking about how great he is and very little time talking about the logistics/safety precautions of the camp. He brought up walking field trips they would be taking to the Wilson Park and to the Plunge. During our session there were about sixty kids (he claimed in an earlier session they had 200+ kids). I only saw a couple other adults and a few kid counselors in training. I asked how they would keep track of the kids on a field trip -- would they be put into small groups and assigned to a counselor? He said no, they would do a headcount. But a headcount wouldn't help you figure out who is missing, just that someone is missing!!! That was a red flag signal to me. It was also clear from the sign-in and sign-out process (often at an unmanned desk) that they really weren't taking safety seriously at all. Like a previous reviewer said, anyone could have walked out with my child. No one knew her (because she wasn't assigned to a specific counselor who got to know her), and no one was supervising the sign-out process! They didn't seem to have any real plans for the week, just winging it day by day. Though we were signed up for basketball camp, my daughter hardly ever played any basketball. One day when I came to pick her up early I observed that kids, big and small, were grouped together (ages 6 to 10+) playing soccer. Well, if you have a team with 10-11 yo boys as well as 5-6 yo girls, obviously the little kids aren't going to get to do anything! I saw all the little kids looking bored and totally unengaged. I called her over to the sidelines and she walked off with me, without any adult even noticing!!! IT WAS SO CRAZY UNSAFE! By Wed, my daughter had had enough and begged me not to send her back. Despite the fact that I had already paid, I decided not to send her back for the rest of the week. I honestly felt badly about the three days I had made her go. I will never enroll her in this summer camp again, and I would not recommend it to anyone else with young campers! read more

This review is with regards to having a party. Overall, the kids had a great time and it was simple to book and throw a party here. While the space is great (no complaints), the service we had was pretty mediocre at best. Our on field party leader didn't try to engage the group of kids as a whole. Yes, most of them were +/- 4 years old but he basically threw the balls and other toys on the field and let the kids do whatever they wanted. I was expecting a little more organization (or at least an attempt) to get them to play together doing whatever fun games they play. Us parents ended up running around playing with the kids... didn't really need our on field "leader" there. He also didn't even try to play with the birthday kid. The party hostess in the party room was nice enough but they ran out of forks (kind of important if THEY are providing the utensils) before we had gotten there. If I had gotten a call they had run out, I could've brought some with. While she would be in the room when we were doing certain things, we couldn't find her when she left if we needed something. The tables were set up nicely when we arrived but there was stuff written all over the dry erase board with nothing that we could erase it with. Overall, the littles had fun running around (and parents got some exercise) and it was easy to book and a decent price... but nothing all that exciting as far as service goes. read more

For a summer camp I would rate less than 1 star!!! Not a safe environment. And it's not a cheap summer camp $300 per week. Too many kids not enough coaches or supervision. Very very unorganized unprofessional . The director of the summer camp was a smooth talker and made a lot of promises but after 2 days I won't be taking my grandson back. Just to dangerous anyone can walk in and take a your kid. They have kids between 6 and 12 all clumped together. They talked about not babying the kids but to clump all ages together just isn't safe. Honestly I feel sick to my stomach that many parents are leaving their kids there thinking it's all good just because of the brand name of LA GALAXY and cause they are paying good money. Building has no A.C. nor windows youll be playing in a stuffy and hot area almost passing out if you play a game(I'm a pretty fit guy), just because of the lack of fresh air youll feel like ur about to die . The service has been bad and I've waited six weeks before complaining via Yelp. My son had to play with inconsistent coaching and teammates. The schedule is hit or miss and sometimes we don't even know when games will occur. The schedule we were promised never made it to us. Today, the lady who runs the snack bar gave me the worse attitude (2nd time this happens). This poor costumer service is a JOKE and shouldn't be tolerated by management. This review is specifically for the kids 1/2 day Sports Camp. My two kids attended two days of sports camp this holiday break. The first day, my child told me they watched boxing during their snack break (ok, not necessarily a deal breaker, but not something I'd prefer my young kid to be watching). Why not watch soccer?? But the second day. Apparently there was a kid in attendance who was attacking the other kids and the coach did absolutely nothing to stop it, even as it escalated from unfair play to violence. Another kid was using the F* word - and again, coach did nothing. I'm sorry, but if these half-day campers were teenagers, it'd be one thing for the coach to let the kids work things out. But these are young elementary kids. Totally, completely uncool, inappropriate, ridiculous. My kids don't want to go back, and I don't want them to either. read more

The soccer program is supposed to be one hour long. But the coaches show up the field exactly at 5 some times late. By the time they are ready to start its already 5:10. The main coach who is the manager always leaves to his office and comes back around 5:20. By than they talk so much that practice actually starts at 5:25. And they always end at exactly 6:00 sometimes 5:55 and the clocks are everywhere here. Right now it is 5:18 on the walls and they haven't done a drill yet. This is already our 4th training. Our first day there were 30+kids and one coach who is also the manager and an assistant who didn't do anything. So I complained at the front office. Left her my number and name and no calls at all. My wife came to get our money back and they assured her that they would add more coaches. They did add one more coach but now things begin at 5:30. I don't have the time to come here and waist my time and my daughter. I Strongly don't recommend this place unless you just want to kill time. read more

Loved their summer camps so much that I decide to book a kid's birthday party there and called their Director of Programs: Jessica Campbell. She was a real turn off and told me that we couldn't book parties in the morning ever because of classes, never tried to find a solution, barely polite. I don't think I will go back now.... My kids go for soccer and the facility host futsol games. It's pretty great considering it's essentially indoor soccer, so the games are fast and well organized. On Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, they allow for kids to pay $8 for an hour of pickup games. Games end up being co-ed which I'm good with but some parents might not be that thrilled about. There is a cafe and plenty of vending machines. Some of their staff were great but some seemed a little too aloof when refereeing games. read more
