I stopped in at the first place I could think of and the Service manager was so so helpful. He and the technician emptied my loaded to the brim rear hatch to access the spare tire. Luckily it was a full size spare. They proceeded to jack it up and install the spare tire perfectly and efficiently. When I asked what I owed the service manager just smiled and said NOTHING! I couldn't believe it. Very very much appreciated the kind gesture. Also I have to add that my SUV is a Range Rover so not even one of their cars!!!!!!!!Thank you again!!!!!!

Harris failed to disclose the Kia was previously a rental car. I reported Harris Oceanside to the Vehicle Authority of British Columbia on July 7, 2025 after Harris and I were not able to arrive at an mutually agreeable resolution. On September 09, 2025 the VSA determined that Oceanside failed to declare that the Kia had previously been a rental car. The VSA ruling: Based on the VSA investigation, the information and evidence, I have determined the following regarding your complaint: The purchase agreement did not indicate that the vehicle had previously been a rental car - Substantiated: The evidence demonstrates that Oceanside failed to declare that the Kia had previously been a rental car on the Purchase Agreement. Any potential resolutions are between you and Oceanside as the VSA cannot compel a Motor Dealer to do anything or respond in one way or another with regards to a specific consumer transaction. If a resolution cannot be reached betwee you and Oceanside, you have the option of seeking legal advice or civil action. This is definitely the worse car buying experience I have ever had!
