When contacting the owner he said the problem was she drove too far and began blaming the way she must have been driving the car. This was on a weeknight he began by saying she would have to pay to get it tow back to his shop when she refused he reluctantly agreed to have a tow truck pick the car up. A couple of days later he called and asked if she was still interested in buying the car NOPE. Honestly I don't know if he's a crook or con man but he sure acted like one. Looks like he has shut down his shop hope he isn't operating somewhere else Ray McDonald

He May be a Nice Guy to talk to, however, my personal experience is one…read morewhere i gotta say, i have never had dishonest BS spoken to me and at such a blatant level in my entire 41 years having my vehicles repaired. Watched His staff mess up from the start, while putting my vehicle on the hoist, apprentice crushed the rear heater lines, Dave tells my at bill time, my vehicle just started to leak anti frozen while there. A lye. Later after vehicle back in my possession i driving a friend home, heard something hit vehicle under front middle and rear underside of vehicle. Two stop signs later my brake pedal goes to the floor. And my eyes go wide. Front Wheel hub & bearing job was just done by them. Took it back that night. Following day i go to pick up and i get told the rear drum brakes, the brake Adjuster fell off. Really, another blatant lye. Brake adjuster not able to fly out of brake drum if it came off. Heavy grinding noise and grabbing rear brakes would have been apparent. It was not. E brake and brake pedal would have been different upon returning to me. E brake no diff. Did not hold, no change at all! Neither was there a change in brake pedal travel. So whatever had happened was hydraulic in nature, not mechanical. So as the front calliper was just re and re'd for the hub n brg, obvious it was a Front calliper support bolt that was not installed / tightened correctly. Thus allowing for one to fall out, go bouncing under the vehicle, hitting undercarriage and causing the noise heard just prior to the brake pedal catastrophically dropping causing no brakes. The Gripe is that In both those instances Dave charged me for their Blatant mistakes. Adding together it was over $550.00 in parts and labour for those two Mistakes they made. I guess The lyes he told me happened to be the free part!! Ha! I could go on and on, because there is more. However i will not! I will however Finish by saying again, i am ecstatic to finally see that business gone from Nanaimo. I feel we residents of central Nanaimo are far better off without those smug, nice smiling, ohh so easy to bill high, lye and overcharge people.

WARNING - DEALERSHIP DOES NOT OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY Over…read morethe last several days, I have been in contact via phone, email, and text with two sales representatives at Kabani Motors in Vancouver. They have a 2015 Honda Pilot with 9,825KMS and an asking price of $39,995. In my initial conversation with Eduardo Guillo where I made an offer that was not accepted; however, Eduardo informed me via email that the lowest price that the owners of Kabani would accept is $39,470. Over the last four days, we continued to discuss the Pilot and decided yesterday, Sunday, April 10th, 2022, that would engage with the dealership again to make an offer. This time around we dealt with Summit K. Biswas. Over a period of 3 hours, we communicated via text and phone. During this period, we discussed the value of their $299 administration fee and further negotiated on price. With each offer, Summit returned to the owners of the dealership to present my offer and continuously kept coming back in writing that they would not accept anything less than $39,000. We came to the decision that we would pay the price and provided Summit with my credit card over the phone, and it was charged with a $1000 non-refundable deposit I planned to fly to Vancouver to pick up the SUV. Approximately, a half-hour later I received a text message from Summit, stating that the boss there is no discount on that vehicle, yet last week they were prepared to take $500 off. Over the course of the negotiation process, Summit contacted the owners of the dealership more than three (3) times to discuss the price and then revoked our agreement and wanted me to pay full price. The reason given, is the owners didn't have good cell service and didn't hear the offer correctly, yet they were very familiar with the conversation I had the previous week with Eduardo and the offer. Whatever you decide to do with this dealership and its owners be VERY CAREFUL. They are not ethical and do NOT operate with integrity. I had to request multiple times to have them credit my VISA and ended up calling the bank to report it as fraud. Below are the screenshots of our text message conversation. Car checked out on CarProof and all previous owners repair bills were provided. I declined the warranty because after taxes it was $2000 for 3yrs/35000kms. As I drive on average 40000kms a year, at the time this was not an ideal service for me. Within 3 days of purchase, both the check engine and battery lights were illuminated. Now yes, they did agree to fix these problems on the condition that I agree that anything occurring afterwards would be my problem. I thought, 'fine, what else could go wrong with a vehicle that was purportedly mechanically sound?'. Within 3 days after getting the car back, the check engine and coolant lights are now illuminated. Due to all the snow of late, of the 12 days that I have owned the car, I have driven 3 days for a total of 200kms. Between too much snow and it always needing repairs, this has been a total waste of $11000+. I emailed them why woeful tale and never received a response. Instead I am taking my car to Nixon Automotive to do a proper repair job and inspection. Sure I opted not to buy a warranty, but who the hell expects this many problems within 2 weeks a vehicle purchase. DO NOT EVER deal with Granville Island Motors or its parent company PS Motors. You were warned!
