I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this antique mall! It's absolutely massive - the largest of all the antique stores I visited in Aurora. And the building has its own fun history - it was built in 1919 and is a historic old turkey hatchery/pickle factory haha! The layout is wonderful - no claustrophobic cubicles or walls - very wide open and feels like a huge antique art gallery. There are so many beautifully preserved antique pieces here - I found one of the most gorgeous antique stoves I've ever seen. They have a fun set of retro gym lockers and a really cool old school desk - lovely sideboards and all sorts of other odds and ends. I even found a whole set of Liberty Blue plates which I own and have never seen anywhere else haha!! How random lol! The staff were all super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Prices can be quite high for some of their antiques imo - but on par with the rest of the town. The sign says no public restroom but they did have one they let me use - very clean. Plenty of parking in their huge private lot. It's a little ways down from the main historical town area along a busy road with no sidewalk so I recommend driving it for safety. read more

First off, this is my FAVORITE Antique shop in Aurora. I often find myself wandering through the rooms on pay day (shhh...don't tell my husband) searching for their new items and seeing their new displays. The ladies here have always been quite friendly including their beautiful border collie who waits patiently behind the counter. As soon as you make your way through the entry past the beautiful framed artwork, and ornate furniture, you're welcomed to a fresh pot of coffee, and cookeis for you to enjoy while browsing. What a treat!!! I have purchased glass ware, antique light fixtures, localy made peach syrup and many more items from here. I was happy with the price on all items. They are very reasonably priced here. The layout is so spacious and welcoming with a layout as if you were walking through someones home. There is plenty of space to walk around and not worry about bumping into anything. This place is large so carve out a good chunk of time to enjoy exploring here!!! read more

We like this antique store. We actually didn't realize it was in Aurora until recently since it's off the beaten path. It's quite large and has a good assortment of furniture. We've not found a treasure here yet, but I'm sure we will some day. We'll be back! read more

I could have walked around this place for hours! I know there were so many treasures I didn't get a chance to see with one go-round. And I seriously wish I had more play money because I wanted all of the things. I ended up walking away with a great fire engine red vintage spice rack for my kitchen wall, and my mother found two gorgeous matching Tiffany lamps for a damn steal. I will make this one of my absolute go-to spots whenever I visit in the future. read more

Absolutely the best antique shop in Aurora. They have lots of fun retro and vintage finds that are often very affordable - a stark contrast to the "antiques for antiques sake" in downtown Aurora. Just because something is old and some lady from Arkansas dug it out of her attic for Antiques Roadshow doesn't mean I'd ever want it in my bedroom. South End definitely has the right idea, that vintage wares should be fun and accessible. The mall features a wide variety of vendors, including a great selection of 50's-70's Pyrex and jadeite originals and reproductions. Just love that stuff. They usually have some fun outdoor treats near their door, like fun planters and patio furniture. I found an adorable patio table out there for $12. I couldn't get an ugly plastic one at Target for that much! Any time I have friends or visiting relatives clamoring for the Antique Capitol of Oregon, I push them South. read more

We returned to this store after two years and were met with friendly service in helping us with our purchase that needed to be removed from the wall. The kind lady that helped us had to get a step ladder and a hammer but we got it down. Everything in the store was on sale for Colony Days and we were pleased with our purchase. this place is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside! Not sure how that can be! A huge selection of small stuff for a few dollars, to beautiful furniture. Each room or area seems to be maybe consignment? So don't snap up the first article that you've been looking for, there is likely a piece in better condition or costing less in another booth area! The antique mall has a number of quality items throughout the space. However, I would avoid this antique mall in Aurora unless you don't mind having rude, snooty and unhelpful staff treat you like you were bothering them. We were informed that they don't take "offers" for items they are selling for vendors and were unwilling to contact a vendor for an item we were interested in possibly purchasing. We were requesting 20% off of the requested vendor price and were told that since it was a holiday that the vendor would be difficult to probably get a hold of and the vendor only would drop 10%. Antique malls and vendors don't set the price arbitrarily, the prices should be based upon what the public is willing to pay for items and it would be more appropriate to ask the vendor if they were willing to accept the reduced amount offered before dismissing the potential customers. It is also a good business practice to not talk "under your breath" about the customers as they leave the establishment. There are plenty of other antique stores in Aurora that we have in the past and will continue to shop at and spend our money in the future! read more

My friend and I went in last weekend and was excited to see all the treasures in it. This would be why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. As we wandered around I happened to see a lady that worked there near by. We went upstairs and soon that same lady was up there with us, still not thinking anything of it, but then we went back down stairs and she came down with us. She pretended to straighten things up but clearly we were being followed. Both my friends and I had an item in our hands and we must have looked like the stealing type of people. I understand about shoplifting but following someone who has no intention of it is they way to lose customers. A bit of advise for the management. Have your stalker come up to customers in a polite way and ask if she would like to have her take their items up to the desk so they don't have to carry them. It's a win win. Both my friend and I felt it was offensive, and will not be returning to this shop. I love going to Aurora and will continue to go, but will not go to the south end. read more
