Hello Everyone, I am writing this review because I cannot express enough my gratitude to Kee for helping me to alter my wedding dress. As a 2025 bride I have been utterly humble by the amount of work it takes to plan a wedding. The most stressful part for me was the day my wedding dress came in. I had found this beautiful dress at a different store and although I ordered it a year ago it did not come in till three months before my wedding. I was stressing out because unfortunately it needed a lot of work. I need the bottom of the dress to be hemmed, the sleeves to be attached to the dress, and the dress to be taken out because unfortunately the company had ordered a smaller size than I had originally wanted. Thankfully I had an appointment at the Natty Dresser for my alterations. Kee did amazing work and I am forever thankful to her for helping me to create my dream dress. Natty Dresser Haberdashers Extraordinaire, My family has been in and out of The Natty Dresser store each summer for the last two years. And times before and between. Their store is a treat. It is a mens clothing store that offers more than clothing. Seeing them move from their old store to the new larger building was a delight. I hope they have more such success. It is well earned. There are few good rites of passage that mark growth and maturity in our modern world. Getting a well tailored suit is one such practice that remains. It is not simply for show, but for self-respect and respect of the event and people involved in the event, which serves as the reason for getting dressed up. Perhaps it is a bit of a luxury. It certainly feels luxurious. Having someone take the time and skill to help a person present their best self and have confidence is not simply a luxury though. It is an investment in time, effort, and skill that gives weight and meaning to statements like, "This is my son with whom I am well pleased." Or more simply, "I love you." My daughter did not wear a suit to get married, but her husband was dressed in a suit fitted and provided by you. On their day, it was part of how he said, "You're worth my best effort." Not only do they have a great selection of men's clothing to choose from - including many great hats, but they have professional tailors right there. They can customize most anything and they are super nice and will help as much as needed. The woman who helped me and my husband to be put his outfit together for the wedding was a gem. This is by far the beat place to get all you men's apparel ! It doesn't matter the age, it's my 16 year olds favorite place to go get dress clothes!!! At the end of the day, my wedding suit fit and was to order. As was the shirts for all of the groomsmen, and suits for both fathers. As of the rehearsal day, (day before the wedding) that was not the case. They were kind to me, and the mistake in my sizing appeared to be a mistake the tailor made, not the Natty Dresser. The tailor also misread the numbers corresponding with the colors of my inside liner of the suit. Not the end of the world, but not what I had wanted or ordered. They managed to fix it and get it back in about a month later, three days before the wedding. Luckily, it fit by then. As for the groomsmen, the sizing was off on 4/8 of them. They went in a couple times to get fitted and checked, and some of the staff were not kind or understanding, blaming the groomsmen and making comments like "if you don't wear nice clothing a lot, it might not feel right". Eventually, the shirts were delivered with the correct monograms and correct sizing. My father was treated well while he was managing the transaction. He also ordered a suit off the rack, then had it adjusted to his size, which worked well and was done quickly. He looked rather dashing. My father in law received the totally wrong size of pants, and didn't get his correct pants until the day before the wedding. Come wedding day, he looked amazing. We were all calm and collected about it, and the staff seemed to respond *mostly* apologetically and well-mannered. We all looked good on the wedding day. If you have a temper or anger issues, or need perfection, just make sure you're working with Oscar, and make sure you start the process at least three months before the date you need it. read more

This business has moved into a larger and better space, allowing them to really show what they can do. I have never purchased anything from them, as my age and taste seem to place me outside their target audience, but it's always a classy experience to stop in and browse. They carry nice model lines from Filson and Pendleton. Brimmed summer hats too, a very difficult item to shop for. I really think one must go to a large eastern city to find truly elegant mens' hats. I wish them and Old Town Albany well. I feel like I'm in the Oregon of my childhood when I'm down there. read more

Signed up for a black tie event. Couldn't make it last minute because our babysitter tested positive for Covid. If we had any other options, we would've gone but had to cancel. Understandably it was financially inconvenient for them at such short notice but we didn't have any control over somebody getting sick. Lost out on $200 because of their one-week refund policy. Thought that was kinda lame. Didn't even offer to credit some of it towards the next event. For that reason they lost a customer. Fortunately there are many other places that do the same thing. read more

I have been to the Natty Dresser twice, I live in Eugene and drove there after I found them. First it was great to find a real men's shop. Second they have a very good quality selection, not rack after rack of average clothes. Just very well chosen lines of nice stuff. This used to be my favorite men's clothes store. They have high quality and had good service and I'd have given them five stars before my last experience. They still have high quality but when I went in a couple weeks ago none of the staff were wearing masks. The owner came up to me and I asked him to put on a mask which he did but then he said that the governor was just making a suggestion regarding masks in public businesses which is untrue. It is a mandate enforced by Oregon OSHA. And even if you were resistant to the mandate, you'd think that seeing a customer in a mask would prompt them to put a mask on out of respect if nothing else. In the future I will find a different retailer who follows the state laws, who believes in science, doctors and epidemiologists and who believes in protecting their customers' health rather believing the unfounded claims of the uneducated influencers on the internet.. read more

4 Albany this is a very classy store the quality is good but a lot of the product is made overseas some of the items that are mentioned is Pendleton that are made in China and Mexico. But that's what Pendleton does now very hard to get Pendleton made products made in Oregon anymore except for maybe their blankets. Price range on your other item was a little bit on the high side. But it's nice to see a classic joint in Albany. Easier than going to Portland and shopping at Marios or John helmers. I will consider buying something here in the future based upon great value and taste. read more

This place is easily one of the best looking shops in downtown Albany. The staff is very helpful and nice, and their selection is also very good and reasonably priced for being very high quality clothing. Personal experience - it was a day before my dream job interview and I put on my suit only to realize it was way too big and looked bad. I called them, and they got me in that night and had my suit back to me the next day. I nailed the interview and got the job. Having a well-fitting suit definitely helped with my confidence and gave me the look I was going for. They definitely went well above and beyond to help me out, and it is greatly appreciated. On our second visit we were helped by Oscar who was also attentive and efficient. I would also like to mention that on our first visit I witnessed Oscar assisting another customer who was difficult and rude, Oscar maintained his composure and professionalism throughout the interaction, which I was quite impressed with as he never lost his smile.
