Sending one bill after another even though bill was paid directly at doctors office. When you as patient are calling 866 706 0065 for questions about billing, number 1 for last name A-F for my husbands/patients last name, the phone automatically hangs up on you. Then called 305 558 3724 - received this number from doctor's office - same thing. ENT is hanging up on patients! This is another level of SCAM not to take patients' phone calls concerning billing. read more

Dr. Travis Lewis is amazing. However, SFENT weston and their billing department is horrible and super unprofessional. They made a mistake on our billing statement and refused to resubmit the claim to United Health Care for my son. Keeping my son from being able to see the Dr Travis again. Their billing department is not only lazy, they are unprofessional and unethical on many levels. The billing staff member I spoke to from SFENT not only refused to resubmit the claims BUT also told me she couldn't because" her supervisor told her not to " when I asked to speak to her supervisor she said her supervisor was in a meeting. South Florida ENT Associates is worse than abysmal when it comes to billing and Dr. Kleidermacher's staff is completely incompetent and rude. It took me 6 months to get my $1,500 deductible back from SF ENT after I had sinus surgery. They collected the deductible before the surgery, but it was applied to the anesthesiologist's bill. I had to pay another $1,500 to the anesthesiologist to avoid going to collections and then fight with the billing office of SF ENT to get the other $1,500 they weren't entitled to back from them. It took countless calls, documentation, letters, the insurance carrier calling and writing them, and me finally threatening small claims court before they finally refunded it. I even had someone in the billing office outright lie to me about their title and level of authority. Dr. Kleidermacher's staff is beyond unbelievably rude. They will put you on endless hold, disconnect you, not answer your questions, give you bad information, argue with you, and God-forbid should a situation arise where an apology is in order. Before using this group also check the individual doctors names. What you find is a trend of them buying practices and finding ways to make more money but very few happy patients. Sadly my doctor joined this group and I will be finding a new doctor. read more

I had a very good visit with Dr Cooperman. I'm waiting for them to call me for an appt. for a CT Scan. No one has called me back for 10 days now. Dr Jonathan Cooper was the worst doctor I have had an experience with. I was referred to the practice for my daughter to rule out possible tonsilitis, Dr Cooper was very dismissive to us he spoke to my daughter (which is 17) as if she was lying, the whole appointment took place with the door open(HIPAA) violation, he was more concerned with her making up symptoms than actually looking into the problem. THIS IS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE! WOULDN'T RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Paul kleidermacher for an ear infection, I made an appointment at 1:30. I arrived 15 before my appointment because I was a new patient at the office so I knew I had to fill out some documents, Even though I arrived 15 minutes beforeThey didn't take me into a room until 2:20 PM, No other patients were waiting in the waiting room and no other patients were being attended. Once they finally took me in I spent another 30 minutes waiting the doctor came in asked me the same questions the nurse had, and then checked my ear told me that I had an infection and a little cerumen accumulated inside. He removed the cerumen and just left it on the table. Prescribed me a few drops for the infection and left. Didn't explain what the drops were for or how long I should use them. I went to reception and had to ask all the remaining information myself. The girl told me that I had to make another appointment for next week and to take the drops like the pharmacy said. Why the service bothered me? 1. I had to wait more than 2 hours for my appointment and I was 5 minutes with the doc. 2. I had to pay $147 for the appointment and then an additional $130 just for the removal of the cerumen. 3. The drops he prescribed me were $280 and also a tonal audiometry of $550. 4. The doctor's priority seemed like money, not people. The mood was horrible in this office, I felt like a number, I did not feel comfortable. The doctor tried to do everything fast no matter how I felt, if you are thinking of going to that place KEEP AWAY. Patients are just a number that they can charge for insurance. Personally I would give no stars if I could. Went for a follow up after my oral surgeon count a cyst In my maxillary sinus. Was told that my insurance would not cover anything the day prior to the appointment, as I have a deductible, so it would be $177 for the appointment. Fine, as a 20 year old student trying to make ends meet I had to tightly pay that. Then the day of the appointment as I'm about to walk in the lady tells me it'll be another $319 for the nasal light. Come to find out, they did not file a claim so those $500 will not apply to my deductible (which was the whole reason I paid it) and I did have an HRA account that should have paid for the visit in whole. read more

When I called they told me I had a $15 copay so I made the appointment. They then billed me over $400 dollars. I called several times to ask for details on the items, such as an Endoscopy for $461 but I could never get a person on the line and they don't return calls. I guess this is what they charge in addition to a $302 office visit just for looking inside my nose with the basic ear and nose device.... Note they didn't do anything for me other than refer me to a surgeon as they didn't failed the first time to fix the problem themselves. In my opinion they are thieves. Make sure to get any costs up front in writing with them as you can't trust them at all. read more

I went, had my appointment. Two weeks later they sent me another letter saying I needed to pay an extra 40 dollars because my insurance wouldn't cover it. Fine I pay it. But my coworker went in and they pulled the same thing on her. How do these people get away with obviously ripping you off. You go to the doctors with your insurance and get it approved before so it doesn't happen. They're just running a scam to squeeze as much as they can on you or they'll say they will have to send your payment to collections if you don't pay. read more

Today I was 15 minutes late for my appointment because of the traffic by FEMA. My appointment was at 3:15 and I still made it there by 330 and the office was closed and the doctor had left. For 15 minutes. For something I cannot control. I am beyond furious and will definitely be finding another doctor. read more

The receptionist at the 500 N. Hiatus Road location was professional and courteous. He is very honest and trustworthy because when my mom's purse was left in the waiting room, he saw it and returned it to her.
