It's about a block off the main road and was nice and tucked away. it is a very small place with a counter to place your order and just a few tables to sit so I wouldn't recommend trying during busy times, I came as soon as they opened so I was good. The people working were super friendly and helped with suggestions. BBQ is my favorite venue so I was quickly pointed towards and tried the brisket. The brisket was fantastic and portions more than ample. For sides I opted for collard greens and baked beans. Neither disappointed! It also came with cornbread with was sooooo good and moist. Although it is about an hour away, I will be back whenever I'm looking for a nice ride.

Our eggs were all done correctly in neat little circles on the plate, hash browns arrived in a form of organized chaos--scattered, smothered, covered, and possibly blessed by the breakfast gods themselves. The grits, sausage and crispy bacon were exactly what we were hoping for when we walked in. While watching the grill I could not help but admire the two short-order cooks moving like seasoned dancers in a greasy, well-worn ballet. One slaps down bacon with a sizzle, the other flips eggs mid-air, never breaking rhythm. The griddle hisses, spatulas clink, and plates slide down the counter in a choreographed routine they honed to a science. It's delicious. It's greasy. It's slightly chaotic. And it's exactly where you need to be.

It was already graciously slathered with their burger sauce (which was quite good on its own) but I was feeling the A-1 as well, which made for a great, exceptionally sloppy burger. The produce on the burger was all fresh and crisp, and they gave an entire slice of onion instead of the few rings some places add. The tomato was juicy and fresh and the lettuce was crisp and even had that rare flavor to it that adds a little something different to a burger. I opted not to have fries with it. It was a good lunch stop, and I would have given them the full five stars, and this is just to make everyone aware before they stop in and order, it is a CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT. They do not take debit or credit cards. That being said, six bucks even for an epic burger and 3 glasses of iced tea was a great price!
