My roommates and I would collect all the soda cans in college and save them in a giant trash can until it was full, then take them to BRC and split the earnings which we would always use to get dinner. The place looks and operates the same - separate your recyclables in the net bins they have (plastic bottles must have caps removed), they weigh each type, and now you can show them a screenshot of their coupon for higher redemption value on your phone. Then you show your ID and get paid in cash. If you go on the weekend, keep in mind they get very busy so it's best to come on a weekday or first thing when they open on the weekends. Overall, a good place to take your recyclables and make back the CRV you paid. I saw they also accept large electronics - someone brought in a giant big screen TV they accepted- unsure of how much they give you for that.
