Staff is friendly and price is very reasonable. Bring your own supplies for shower. Hours for lap swimming are very limited.

BI Aquatics has been a mental health gift...a place to relax and unwind. My beef with this place…read moreis that it doesn't have sufficient hours for lap swimming at convenient times. It is frequently closed off for High School /Master's Swim Team/ Water Polo. It is a "public facility" with far too few truly "public use" hours. That's how tax dollars are siphoned off for certain classes of people - we all pay but only a few reap the benefits. When I had a knee injury and could not exercise, I was able to use the hot water spa, the steam room, and this made me feel better. I have used the deep water pool for their "Water Aerobics" class as well as just water walking for relaxation and meditation. When available the cooler water pool at the rear of the facility is wonderful for lap swimming. It is usually not available in the evenings due to High School water polo. The "family pool" or Don Nakata Pool is warmer and it's okay for lap swimming but far too shallow and broad and only 3 lanes truly for laps. The cost is quite high $11 per drop in if you are an island resident. However, the lockers and showers are well kept if a little dated. Ongoing renovation work through 2025 and 2026 further restrict hours.

My kids have enjoyed their swim lessons here, and the instructors have been great. My one…read morefrustration is with the cancellation policy: it's not clearly stated when you sign up, and canceling isn't something you can do easily online. I had to call and have a manager walk the person on the phone through it. The policy itself (full refund or no refund at 8 days notice) is fine, but it would go a long way if it were disclosed upfront and if cancellations could be handled easily online like everything else. I'd love to see this improved.

I have had several meals (lunch & dinner) and recently hosted one special event at the Club...the food was delicious and service by the staff was and has been excellent. In particular Alicia, the F & B manager Ben Rodriguez and the GM Sam Niland were attentive and proactive in helping me arrange an execute a wonderful special surprise birthday event at the Club. Finally, I played golf for the first time at the Club and the Pro's (Jim Gillies and Al) were super helpful and staff Juliana, as well as, Ryan Anderson the Assistant Pro was outstanding and he took me out for 9 holes to show me the course and it is a beautiful, well maintained, top level, challenging, superb course with majestic trees and plantings and be careful...very fast greens !
