The first time I came here it was for an emergency and they got me in right away, my dog had to go to a specialty vet hospital for surgery but they did a good job. I took another one of my dogs for nails and rabies. I definitely appreciated the doctor talked to me and realized I wasn't a novice pet owner. They also take care of cats for the local animal shelter.

I've know the costs were excessive, but made it work because I was happy with the care my pups received. I didn't even mind that I had received 18 texts in the past 60 days. When their marketing group or whoever it was called and hung hung up on me midsentance after realizing I wouldn't be making an appointment they lost a customer. I assumed it was a marketing firm since I had not encountered any employees that rude and nasty but after reading the yelp review from someone else it may have been an employee who was that vile.

I have been with them for over 17 years (throughout my first fur baby's 16-year-old life), and we now have 2 rescues. The staff is super helpful ... and I know if I have any kind of issue with my dogs, they are more than happy to help (ask the VET), and they call me back promptly. The 'VET' that tops my list at Ridgefield is Dr. Robicheaux. She is caring and patient, and CALM. She answers all of my questions and calms me with her expertise and disposition.
