The Mission Mountains were exactly what we hoped to see and Joe got us very close to the mountains. The flight over Flathead Lake was a bonus. Joe is very knowledgeable about the area and if we knew small scenic flights were as affordable as Joe's, we would have scheduled at the start of our trip. On the plane, we had my husband, 6'-1" and 6'-0", 17 year old son. We all fit in comfortably and loved our flight. If we ever come back out, we would definitely fly with Joe again!

From the minute we walked into his hanger he was friendly and welcoming. The flight around Mission Valley was beautiful. His knowledge of the area really showed with the tour he provided via headsets throughout the flight. We got 15,000 years of history! He even made recommendations for dinner and pointed out where the places were while we flew by. I have to recommend a flight with Joe to anyone visiting the area. It's something you really really have to do because it gives you such an amazing point of view on the area that you would never get otherwise

Also, it was noticed that we had been traveling (unbeknownst to us) on a blown and shredded tire on our trailer. Billy helped my husband assess the damage and offered to help change it with the spare the next day or direct him to the local tire shop. Sure enough, the next morning Billy and another RVer helped change the tire. It saved us from going to the tire shop. We really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of this park. Billy went above and beyond to help us. We come over to this region at least twice a year, and we look forward to staying here again.

I had a good experience at Mission Meadows. My mother in law stays at an RV there. I recently…read morevisited. The bathrooms they offer there are great. Shower pressure is good. The road could use a little work but if you drive the speed limit its not a problem. The people who manage the property are very nice people. They come and check on my mother in law frequently and even went to see her in the hospital while she was there. Now thats going above and beyond for their tenants. You cant put a price on that. The property is kept neat. The grass is cut frequently and its kept pretty clean. They have a laundry facility thats so convenient and a little convenience store as well. The laundry room has plenty of books to read while you wait for your clothes (i thought that was so neat) most people there keep it very quiet so thats awesome too.

The sites are all different with some sites gravel parking and other paved. There are differing build outs on each site depending on the preference of the owner of that particular site. The office is shared with the KOA which is located on the adjacent property. The park has a small workout room and business center along with a bathroom, shower and laundry building that were all clean. The wifi worked decently for most of our stay. Given the price and the minimal amenities, we were not impressed. We have stayed at several of these exclusive owner/resident resorts around the country and we put this one towards the bottom of that list. There isn't much of a beach, unlike other places on the lake, but great to take a boat from. Nearby islands and Polson close by too. Montana state license plate gets you in free for day use. Overnight is $24/night and they are often full. Best bet is to reserve online. Campground will be undergoing remodeling soon, which will be nice. The best option is tent camping in my opinion, because the RV sites are much too close together. The bathrooms have a serious smell problem. Great for families and long term or short term camping. Wild animals frequent area, so be bear aware. I've seen two just in the campground.

The indoor pool was heated and the decking provided a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding acreage. Drew recently renovated a cabin right on the lake and we were not able to stay since the renovations were not complete. But we did tour the cabin and it is stunning. The deck is 15 feet off the lake and you will not be disappointed .

We took the extra, separate small alcove bedroom for one of the kids and had an air mattress brought in for the second one. The BB is set on a southwest bay of Flathead Lake. It is a gorgeous house with an indoor swimming pool, two large decks, and down the hill is a dock. They have kayaks and a paddleboat that is available to guests. We swam and boated and hung out on the dock amid the surrounding mountains. Heavenly. The breakfasts were all large, delicious, and varied. We enjoyed chatting with all the other guests around the shared table. I would definitely return to Flathead Lake and to Swan Hill BB.
