Stoped in for lunch and ordered a Turkey sub. I really liked the turkey and the provolone cheese. The roll was also good.

Solid choice for a cheesesteak, but not my favorite in town. Based on the price for adding fries and a drink a good value, not great. The place looks a bit run down and parking in the back lot is tight. No tables, strictly take out. Terrible menu board and no mention of specials or adding on a drink and fry (or other side) for an up charge. Not user friendly at all and having to ask them to explain how to spend more money seems counter-productive, but what do I know? The largest margin is on the fountain soda, so why not push it? The owners are rich enough and don't care if the customer asks about a drink? I might be back, but if never make a special trip here. Better quality and value elsewhere.

The cheese steak was good a little bit to much pepper seasoning but it good for two people worth the drive

Always very fresh food and staff is great! My favorite is the Italian Hoagies, Thinly sliced meats and fresh veggies make it super tasty.

    California Cheesesteak

This California Cheesesteak is one of the best things I've eaten in a year easily. Huge portion and soooo good!

South Philly never disappoints... the food is always made how I like it (made to order) and the service is just right ... they ask you how you want your food cooked, what extras you want and they clarify how it is normally made. This is important in understanding what you order. in a world where everything including food cost more, they give you your money's worth. There's so much chicken, I could make another sandwich with the amount they gave.

    Yummy

The worker was kind and polite. Their food is good, the fries and the cheesesteak was yummy.

So speedy and delicious! We pulled off the highway to avoid some terrible weather and we were not disappointed. Amazing food and staff.

The subs never disappoint. I love that the meat is shaved thin and they use the shredded lettuce. Also never a long wait for the food!

Monfongo, bifongo, trifongo . . . Since it was our first time in, we tried a lot of different items. The Monfongo with chicharones de pollo was excellent. The pastillilo de carne was good. The papas locas (with carne) was really good. It was so big, we couldn't finish it. We ordered it for an appetizer but it really could be an entree. The arroz con gondules was good. It could have had a little more flavor, but it was fine. I ordered a side of the trifongo since only the monfongo came with the entrees. I really liked their trifongo. Hubby got the pina colada frappe and it was very good, very fresh. Definitely a good place to visit. Street parking. Service was a little scattered and it took a lot longer for our food than expected. Lots of families and lots of people taking out, in addition to almost packed tables. Go, enjoy the Boricua food and feel like you're on an island. :)

FLYERS ON EVERY SCREEN!!! When I say every screen, I think they have about 30 televisions surround the entire interior of the building as well as what looks like how Hockey games have the scoreboard around the center, that's how it is their with the televisions. Trivia is every Wednesday at 7PM. It's a pretty good time honestly. There's a guy named Juan that runs it. He has good style, he is a classy individual and a very intelligent man. Do not use your cell phone or he will exclude you from the game. His rules, not mine... understandably some of the questions are hard but it is what it is. As for the food, it's amazing no matter what I get. From the Loaded Nachos to the Reuben to the Mozzarella Sticks, PB Burger, Fried Pickle Spears, and their Brownie Sundaes... Simply amazing! The restaurant itself had a few tables, a frozen ice cream box, video chance games, a huge rack of phone cards and several pictures decorating the walls. Most of the pictures depicted scenes from mexico, such as poncho villa, zapata, rural life, cows, etc... one of the walls was covered in mirrors and had a sombrero hanging on it. They have standard tacos at 2.50 apiece, chicken, beef or pork. We tried several of them. There was also a Torta for 8.50 that was pretty decent. There was some type of hot sauce (Valentina brand) here that that we put on it made it significantly better. The helado de fresa or strawberry ice cream ($1.50) balanced it out. We also had the Bistek Ranchero: it came with 6 yellow corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, beans, rice & lots of beef, mixed with red pepper. That cost 14.00 pretty decent if you ask me. What makes this place stand out in my opinion is the " tostada ceviche de camaron " or lime marinaded seafood salad on a deep fried corn tortilla. This item is occasionally also available at competitors but not nearly as good. 5 Stars, incredible food!
