The deli is definitely one of the highlights, with sandwiches made fresh to order right in front of you. I always go for the club sandwich, and it's easily one of the best around. If you stop by during the second shift, make sure to see Omari. His sandwiches are amazing, and his customer service is just as great! The store is clean, well-organized, and has that warm, neighborhood feel that makes shopping there enjoyable. I also love that they have a dog bowl and water station outside on the patio for people who bring their pups. On weekends, they even have live bands that set up . I'm obsessed with this grocery. I love the location. Each employee is so cheerful and happy to help. It is very well decorated and grabs your attention, and even has a nice seated area outside. In town for work and decided to check this grocery store out (it's really the only grocery store in Downtown Memphis that's not a mini mart). It's really nice inside and out, clean, well lit, etc. The food options are good but not great; they only have a couple organic items (would like to see more organic produce). Awesome local community grocery store with prices that rival larger grocery chains. Going in initially I thought prices were going to be through the roof because of the local and lack of competition, but they are very reasonably priced with many local and national brands. There is also a deli counter that makes sandwiches using Boar's Head meats for $8. While they aren't going to be massive, they are good for the price and quality. I've eaten both The Club and the The Crackpot - pretty soild. Bread on the sandwiches are roll-like and they heat it up sorta soft like Firehouse. I'd come here to shop if I lived in the area. However, I go back for sandwiches whenever I get a chance. :) read more

Passing through from out of town and needed groceries. Googled grocery stores and this market was nearby. Color me thoroughly impressed. I was greeted by almost every employee I passed. Went to browse the meat counter and was selecting a seasoned salmon when the gentleman behind the counter told me he had just wrapped fresh salmon that morning. Bought some for dinner and it was delicious! Picked up all grocery needs for no more than I would have paid at a retail grocer. Downtown Memphis is lucky to have this gem. read more

We ate lunch here today! It's a grocery store and they make deli sandwiches with Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses. The food prices looked reasonable especially during the current inflation. As for the deli sandwiches, my friend and I halved two sandwiches... the Club, which was TOTALLY amazing and the "Crockpot" which we both agreed was too salty for our tastes. Overall, we loved the new store and we ordered sandwiches and sat out front on the patio to eat. It was pretty good. Just grab what you'd like and head to the self checkout and sit out front and enjoy! Very good grocery store selection too! read more

This is a rating of the sandwich shop and not the entire store. I had the THE CLUB: Roast Beef, Turkey, Bacon, Tomato, Swiss, Spicy Mayo, Vinegar and Oil, on a French roll. It wasn't on a French roll, it was on a wheat sub sandwich roll off of the shelf. For $8, their sub was tiny and lacked meat. Save your $$ and go get a sub somewhere else. read more

Great little grocery store & freshly made delicious sandwiches. Easy parking for downtown & tables to eat your sandwich. Lots of convenience products like grab & go meals & salads. Fresh produce, meats, dairy & other grocery needs. Big beer selection. That's nice but maybe too much store space devoted to beer over some basic grocery needs which is so lacking downtown. I was unable to find several regular canned/ jarred items basic for cooking/meal preparation. And there's hardly any diet soda! Probably the best grocery store in Memphis. They sell a lot of community favorites from local businesses and offer lunch as well. But I'm leaving my first ever Yelp review of any kind for one reason: I dropped my wallet at the store--with $600 in it--this morning. The store's manager, Robert, returned it to me this afternoon--with $600 in it. I know we should all expect people to do the right thing. Far too often, though, they do not. I can't say enough about how kind everyone at this store was to me today.
