The Park Center in Joplin is a little industrial office building strip mall which has a bunch of different medical and insurance type stuff. It's not an exciting mall at all but for people who visit here and work here it works perfectly well and serves the purpose. It could use a little sprucing up but then you know what happened in this town recently so they're doing fine just to be keeping on keeping on. I can't believe I said that.

While it's still not my favorite secondhand store, it's worth trying now!

There's a fairly wide selection of items in here, about what you'd expect for an antique mall of this size. While other antique malls in the area have a larger selection, this one was still fun to browse through. It wasn't overly cluttered, though there wasn't much that I felt like I REALLY needed to take home with me. Not junk necessarily, but nothing that would improve my home or my life majorly. I also found that a lot of the booths were a bit overpriced? This seems to be a problem in the Joplin area specifically, as antique malls in other nearby cities (Springfield, Kansas City, Branson, etc) all seem to have lower prices on average than what you can find in JOMO. Still, there are some hidden treasures if you're willing to look! - I particularly enjoyed the booth close to the front with all the Pokemon cards. They'll make great stocking stuffers when the holidays come around :) - The booth on the left side with handmade ceramics was also awesome! Very reasonably priced and unique, interesting work. These would also make great Christmas gifts! Definitely worth checking out and we'll probably be back, but watch what you're spending! It can get up there pretty fast!

If you're interested in rocks and gems, there is a stall in the back with a sign that says: "rocks and minerals". The man who owns it used to own a rock or a jewelry store back in the day and as a result has a lot of good stock. (He also sells coins, for those who collect those.)He was helpful and a pleasure to shop with and I look forward to visiting his stall again. Another stall, not too far from his sells vintage photographs. He had a interesting collection but unfortunately did not buy anything since my partner, who was showing me around the area planned to take me to their favorite spot for vintage photos. The reason I am giving this place two stars is not because of those two vendors. What they're doing is legit. I am giving this place two stars on the account of the other stalls carrying junk and that the environment could do some touch up. But then again it's a flea market so maybe that's asking too much. Tip: I would advise taking cash with you and not running your card.

(This is HALF PRICE!). 5 kids... this is an incredible savings! Well worth going downtown for and the owner is local rather than a corporate entity. The women's tops were great quality and beautiful and Judy Blues and Risen jeans for my girls had them swearing off yoga pants they were so comfortable. (The world is a better place with less yoga pants outside the gym and our high schools don't allow them anyway. Love having the kids look and feel great without the crazy high prices. There is some great art of various mediums, mainly photography by the owner and a variety of…read morepaintings. Most, if not all of the art is local and it's pretty good. I do think the gallery could use some updating - it doesn't have your typical "gallery" feel. Instead it feels more like an outdated office with some early 90s looking carpet and fluorescent light fixtures. The sign outside also looks run down. But building aside, there is some great local art that's worth a look!
