Besides the standard side of toast or biscuit, you can get a choice of a donut. My coconut chocolate donut was delicious, very moist. Fortunately for Kellyn's Cafe it is a popular spot for Salisbury University students, however there is no waiting area in the restaurant. Our party of five were almost standing on top of people at their tables as we were waiting for a table. Be aware very tight seating in the cafe.

If you're anywhere near Salisbury and craving something sweet waaaaay past normal dessert hours,…read moreInsomnia Cookies is an absolute gem. Beyond their famously warm cookies ready to grab or have delivered, they also offer ice cream flavors you simply won't find anywhere else. (See photo.) And here's the best part -- after the landmark Island Creamery around the corner closes for the night, you can still get ice cream here, WITH COOKIES, until 3:00 AM. That alone deserves a round of applause. A couple of fun toppings are available, and there's a nice selection of chilled beverages in the self‑serve cooler (photo included). Right now, they're running a "Welcome Back Pack" special: 6 cookies for $12 in a neat little box. A great deal and perfect for sharing... or not sharing. For anyone with dietary needs, the gluten‑free chocolate chip cookies were available and genuinely delicious -- soft, warm, and absolutely worth trying. The ambiance is minimalist and clean, clearly designed for efficient takeaway. We learned this spot is extremely popular with college students after hours, and honestly, it's easy to see why. Plenty of parking is available in the lot outside this strip‑mall location, making quick stops super convenient. Insomnia Cookies is the perfect place to treat yourself because you deserve it -- or to surprise someone who could use a little boost. Salisbury is lucky to have it. Five stars for uniqueness, cool vibe, good products, and fun. Wish I thought of this. Every college town needs one of these.

My food was cold, dry, and the sides are tiny. Nothing about the food was good at all. The burger patties are tiny despite being called a "double." The service wasn't great because the person could not hear me despite me repeating myself and raising my voice. When I got to the window to pay no friendliness just pay and go.
