He always picks the most expensive thing out of the cooler and hands it to me, then grabs another and loads my arms up and acts offended if I put them back and pick something else. It's either an awkward battle or you just go with it. I spent $49 on two 4 packs of IPAs and they are only ok. Of course you don't know what you're spending until they ring you up. I hope he reads this and realizes he lost a very loyal customer. He has done this multiple times, but this was the last. I'm going down the street and getting what I want, even if the selection is limited.

I am not over paying for Sea Hag to get 2 g bots. They wouldnt just sell me the 2 bots either. And I don't give a flying poop if a beer is limited, like the "helpful" sales people there say. What made this one stand out to me though is that it had exactly what I was looking for. I had been searching for a specific rum all over CT now that not even total wine had (and they have everything) so I was pleasantly surprised when i found it. Even more so by how friendly the guy behind the counter was, he said if there was anything I ever wanted all I had to do was ask and he could get it for me, and that is exactly the type of customer service you can expect at this place. The layout itself is really nice, very well kept and clean, if you need cash theres an atm, and theres a bag policy too so make sure not to bring in a big bag unless you want to leave it at the counter. There's also a website and app for added convenience, and they host events sometimes too. Truly a one stop shop for all your liquor needs, specialty or otherwise.

Yes, they carry a wide range of mass produced wine, beer, and spirits but they also carry some unique selections, all at competitive prices. They also have a good selection of local, craft and small batch beer (which I appreciate more and more). In addition to the selection, they get high marks from me for their customer service. The owners have always been very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, even going as far as to offer to purchase a varietal of wine not on their shelves. Now that's customer service!
