This place... it's really isn't a "restaurant" just a stationary trailer that sells food. The interior is too small to be a restaurant, everything is too crowded. But Everytime I smell the air near (Southside Wings), it doesn't smell good. The food doesn't smell like food, and the food isn't that good. Even when I use to get food from here, the food doesn't look edible. It's food poisoning inducing... Now I can see why sometimes the employees be ordering food somewhere from other restaurants instead of eating the food from (Southside Wings), and the place is even unsanitary. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!! I didn't even want to give it one star. I placed my order on Saturday drove 30 mins. After getting home I realize it was not cooked as I requested, but I by pass that after I got home and still ate the wings. I ordered for myself and my wife wings 20 hot and 10 lemon pepper. We had not ate all day and it was kind of a simply dinner between us. YEAH WHAT A TREAT.... My wife and I got sick ALL DAY SUNDAY BY JUST EATING 5-6 wings a piece. When I called of course they are closed on Sunday, so I called after work on Monday. The daughter of the owner first stated that they encouraged customers to check their food before hand( definitely not encouraged to me). Then she stated to me since no one else has called about getting sick, there was not wrong with their wings and offered me a 10% DISCOUNT ON MY NEXT ORDER!!!!! Now I can't control your customers calling back and complaining but I know I told her I still have the food. WE COULD NOY EAT IT!! But still she offered me to 10% discount. BAD BUSINESS. Not only did I lose 40.00 and still have wings uneaten, they lost a new customer. Normally wings are on point but have noticed lately when buying they taste old and redropped. Came in today ordered my usual. 12 pc lemon pepper cooked crispy and dry and another 12 pc. 6 garlic parm and 6 golden barbecue. Told me 15-20 minutes l. Got there still ten minutes on the clock paid for food and then checked it. Looked good, smelled good, taste.... Old, re dropped wings!!! Pulled around came inside , explained to the older lady and asked if they would recook. Of course she denied they redropped the wings but then tried to insinuate that unwanted to long to come get them no miss I actually was there 10 minutes early. She took them in the back had me wait until she took care of other customers and then gave me my food. I checked it again, put a few new ones on top, I found the wing I bit off under the new ones when I got home, fries cold . I'm over it!!!!! I never complain always courteous and polite, but to re-serve me old food twice and with a smile. I heard from a nurse in the office that South Side's wings were "a little small" and so I balked at the ideal of trying them out, but one of the nurse techs the other night in the hospital was having her dinner before starting her shift and she invited me to try some of her wings. She was so pleased that she got "all of those wings" of just under $25, and I'm talking at least 3-4 boxes of different flavors for her at the night team on that ward to share, and I must say these wings were not teeny tinys and were excellent size. I tried the Garlic-Parmesan and the Lemon Pepper, which is always my favorite wing, and these prompted me after rounding that day to call them and place my own order for dinner. Their wings are the absolute best! This is a small-town, family-owned establishment and they also have an assortment of deserts are are home-made, drinks, and you can get either celery or carrots with your wings. I love, love, loved the wings and they are, no doubt, one of my new, favorite wing stops in my work area. I fancy myself a little bit of a wing connoisseur, and they have Wise Guys in Griffin beat and Just Wings, which have nicely flavored wings but they are just so small. Wingstop is still my first love, but I think South Side in Thomaston is now my first-love once removed. I also loved the slice of home made Pecan Pie I had for dessert.
