Probably the best coffee in Victor Harbor…read more I walked in on a sleepy Thursday morning for breakfast to be greeted by warm, friendly staff. The front of the menu was warm and friendly too - they welcome American Express. You rarely get that from small business. It's usually: 3%, or a bitter 'NUP!' And the friendliness continued. No charge for soy milk. What? And they don't use So Good. They use Silk, the choice of Bar 9, Pollen, et al. I ordered the Eggs Benny. Nicely poached eggs, sautéed spinach, and ham, on sourdough. The hollandaise didn't taste house made but was zesty enough. Often when travelling to regional places you end up sampling food that tries to emulate that of the city, without quite getting there. Bavaria, while nothing groundbreaking, does a decent breakfast and a decent coffee, and sure pleased this city slicker.

This place was so lovely. A welcomed treat for when I'm doing a day trip in Victor Harbour. My…read morefriend and I spent a decent amount of time scaling the area being we stumbled across this little gem. It looked appealing from the outside as it didn't look to over-fancy or to simple. Although I must say I do feel the decor was somewhat dated to modern day times with shown basic coloured walls, bench tops and tables ... But nothing a lovely paint job, feature walls or wallpaper, and some new furniture wouldn't fix. Perhaps a theme maybe. On top of this the food was awesome. I dined with one friend of mine for a simple luncheon to satisfy growing hunger pains. The menu boasted a large breakfast menu on the front page with things like bacon and egg dishes, signature Eggs Benedict "Benny" and Eggs Florentine "Florry" dishes, vegetarian breakfasts, croissants and a large variety. My friend ordered a basic breakfast plate with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, avocado, spinach and tomato. The one think I noticed was that the spinach wasn't sautéed, it was almost more garnish style. Never mind. What caught my attention more was the burger menu which was another page devoted to. I should have make some notes because I can't really remember- but I'm sure I saw a vegetarian patty burger, Chicken schnitzel burger- which is what I settled with. It was delicious! Absolutely amazing. Tasted very fresh with a decent amount of fresh leafy lettuce and tomato. The schnitzel with thick, juicy and tasty, and fit the burger perfectly. I ordered a side of chips which are an optional extra for those after something more with their meal. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and was well and truly filled up after consuming every crumb. One small thing that stayed in my mind was the fact that the waitress asked if I'd like any sauce with my dish, and then in-fact brought out a sauce bottle for the table at no extra charge. I'm not a real saucy person, but for those who'd love extra sauce with their meal this is a great bonus! And I know a few who do every time. I did really like this place and enjoyed their patronage throughly. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. When we first arrived there was one free table which needed clearing, which the staff tended to straight away, as well as wiping it over. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxing, with a great view of the park area and beaches nearby. Next time I'm down this way I'll definitely be coming back here for a burger or 2 with a group of friends.

Well, I had seen this place around, so I thought that it might be cool to visit it. Yeah, it turned out to be pretty good, certainly much better than a lot of the other fast food places I'd visited, but then again it does happen to be an independent burger joint. Yeah, I liked it.

A tasty and solid burger - and for a decent price too! 127 Days may not be in the nicest part of…read moretown, but the good stuff normally isn't! The cute little burger bar has a funky interior to offset the seedy surrounds and a menu with a great range of choices for lunch and dinner (if you dare to come after dark..!) Today I ordered the Cheese Banga and a side of #tags (a variation on chips, deep fried pieces of potato in the shape of a # symbol). I was impressed by the quick and friendly service and when my burger hit the table I was impressed by its size - at only $8, (plus $4 for the #tags) it certainly was worth the price! The enormous pattie went right to the edges of the well sized bun and the first bite of the burger was delicious - cheesy, saucey and yummy! I did notice that the pattie itself was a bit bland however it was redeemed with the addition of flavours from the sauces. The accompanying #tags were a nice difference to chips and I loved how crispy they were however they were pretty greasy and could have done with some kind of interesting seasoning... I think I'll certainly be back - and hopefully they start to get a bit creative with the burger patties to push the review up to a five star!

I must admit, first impressions were "oh yeah, this is just another burger bar" But I was very…read morepleasantly surprised. This is a burger bar - but their food was great :) I don't normally like burger bars - because I am not a huge fan of big beef patties, particularly when they are cooked medium (as I like my meat well done) But I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a number of vegetarian options. My mum also has a gluten intolerance - so burger bars can be problematic for her too - but they happily made her an open burger with no bread. There are many places along Jetty Road at the bay - butt his one is definitely worth a look in :) I noted while I was down at the bay that McDonalds has closed down - with burger bars like this in the area - I am not surprised!! I will definitely be back.

The signage does not stand out and it really does look like just another take out store but the burgers are absolutely sensational. The toppings are generous and so is the size of the burger. I had the beef mushroom burger and my sister had the chicken mushroom burger. The toppings on my 'beef mushroom' burger included cheese, coleslaw, red onion and mustard. Probably good to mention that they have six different vegetarian burgers which is a pleasant surprise I imagine for any vegetarian or healthy concious person. The service is great considering how busy they were! Also the burgers are excellent value for what you get- which is fresh toppings and generous sizes. Plus, we had a brief chat to the owners and found out that this is a family run business. It ALWAYS feels better to support South Australian businesses. We'll be back for sure!
