Throughout my time here, I witnessed many positive changes that directly benefited students and enhanced our learning experience. The faculty has been incredibly supportive, advocating for students' concerns while maintaining transparency and accountability. They provided the necessary resources for those willing to take initiative in their education and seek help when needed. Dean Green, in particular, actively listened to our feedback as nursing students and implemented meaningful changes that improved the program. The instructors were dedicated to our success, guiding us through complex nursing concepts and ensuring we were well-prepared for clinical practice. Hands-on experience in both the skills lab and clinical rotations was invaluable, allowing us to apply what we learned in real-world healthcare settings. These experiences truly reinforced our critical thinking and patient care skills. Overall, my time here was a transformative journey, and I am grateful for the education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences that have prepared me to begin my career as a nurse. For students who are committed to their success, this program provides the tools and support needed to excel. I've made long-lasting relationships with faculty, and students from different terms and programs and look forward to staying in touch :)

This program claims to stand for student success, but that is far from the reality. The staff…read moreconsistently fail to advocate for students, show little accountability, and appear far more interested in collecting tuition than supporting education. The Respiratory Therapy program is especially disappointing and clearly in need of major restructuring Many instructors are disengaged, unapproachable, and outright rude to students including Concerns are routinely ignored, communication is poor, and leadership is essentially absent. A large portion of staff seem disconnected from both students Multiple clinical sites have openly expressed negative experiences with this school and its faculty staff and embarrassing reflection of how the program is run. For the cost of tuition, the facilities are unacceptable. The building is small, outdated, and not remotely worth what students are paying. Students feel unsupported, unheard, and misled about what this program actually offers. There is a widespread lack of professionalism, and serious rumors about inappropriate behavior circulate due to the absence of transparency and accountability

Good if you need life skills training and it's somewhere to be if you've just gotten out I guess…read more They're HIGHLY misleading when it comes to getting people jobs. They DON'T get people jobs. As soon as you graduate the 40 hour workshop they tell you to go out and start wearing shoe leather down. I did everything they asked of me. Including first and foremost getting them their $895 from the State of Nevada. They provided me with ONE job lead. For a receptionist position. (I'm a dude!) That they had sent seven other people out to. Couldn't get so much as a bus pass out of these people. If you identify as Agnostic or Atheist they don't seem to like it. The program's very much based in faith and I'm not. They used to have an excellent substance abuse counselor but she's moved on. (Good for her) Their founder was issued a full pardon by the President in 2020 and ever since his ego's been quite a bit to take in many's eyes. Don't let them string you along with promises of employment. Because you'll discover that they're leaving that to you. I went to these people because I found myself unemployable after my release from prison and I bought what they were selling hook, line and sinker but the reality's not nearly as shiny as they'd have you believe. The only thing I will say is that to this day I remain sober and have not been back to jail and have been out of all trouble since 2019. But, all that's because of ME! Not anything Hope4Prisoners EVER did for me.

You have to wait 5/6 weeks just to get to see a case manager. So I ask , who's paying for our bills during these 6 weeks? All these classes are fine if you're in jail, but not out here when you're trying to survive and do right, so it's hard to try to hustle while you're getting through this just to get One last chance! They give you a false sense of Hope here!

I would give 0 stars if I could. This school will steal your financial aid money and make you pay…read morefor the program in full even if you withdraw. All they do is lie!! Also the MA training by far the most mediocre training you will ever see. Most of what you learn in independent and the instructor never responds when you need help or have question. Basically you're on your own with roughly 20 assignments and discussions. Almost my entire class had so many complaints about the instructor and how she was so mean and for no reason. The instructor puts an extreme amount of homework on the students and then says "no late work is accepted " as if people don't have lives outside of school..They purposely make people have to retake the modules so they can get paid more money. The people in the office especially financial aid rarely answers or returns calls. They take complete control of your financial aid and you won't know how much aid you were approved for and or if there's excess funds and if the max is being requested etc. Then they put so many transactions on a "breakdown" that's supposed to explain what the charges are etc but it's so much b.s on there you won't even understand and it's never clear. Please save yourself from a headache DON'T DO IT!!!

They unlock a new module over the weekend, but if you are pro-active and complete the quizes or discussion board before your scheduled zoom meetings, you will lose 4 out of the 5 hours of documented homework time. Furthermore, if you call and ask around the office about an issue, there is no guarantee that the will bother to help you. The instructor made an error on the attendance sheet, forgetting to put the time out before submitting it, causing everyone in the class to get 15 minutes of the 5 hours of lab time on their official grades. It was only corrected because I said something, we submitted an amendment form weeks ago, and after following up I was told they are still working on fixing it. Here we are almost a month later and the correct times have not been adjusted. I haven't missed a regularly scheduled zoom meeting with my instructor, I haven't missed a single Lab day, but because my instructor gives students every opportunity to not succeed, I only have partial attendance credit. I get there before my teacher, am always ready to learn and work my hardest , but everytime I ask my teacher what's going on, I am told "It was covered in the syllabus, you should know this." Funny thing is I call the support line for help, use their virtual assistance on their student portal, and nobody seems to know anything. The instructor has even said " I don't know why it's not working, you will have to meet with someone during business hours." My Disappointment of the institution can not be stated enough. DO not go to this school for Electrical Technician training. I was lied to and told there was an Extension Program for on the job training. After signing the payment agreement and asking about the Extension Program again, I was told "actually Electrical Technician DOESN'T have an extension program". I.E. they make it sound fantastic when they want your money, but when you expect the results that a $20,000 program should provide, they fall far short of my expectations.

I was excited about the opportunity to receive this education and delve into plumbing with an open mind. However, what wasn't explained to me is that NTI was in the process of changing properties during my curriculum, and we were expected to handle much of the moving ourselves as part of our 'learning.' This included moving boxes, cleaning out trash and clutter from the new building, and various other tasks that didn't contribute to my education. This took up approximately 40% of my $8000 course, which was disappointing. During this complete waste of time, we met our instructor, Dave. It was clear that NTI was Dave's first teaching job, as he would quickly become agitated and raise his voice over minor inconveniences such as questions about the curriculum or difficulties understanding the material. Dave, to put it lightly, was one of the most unpleasant people I've encountered, and unfortunately he was responsible for my education. While Dave was capable as an instructor if you understood everything perfectly on the first try and never made mistakes, any errors were met with condescending remarks and confrontation. If you attend the plumbing course, hope and pray that Dave isn't your instuctor and hope and pray you get Kodi as your instructor.
