Their tune-up is a fraud. All they do is make a remark about the filter (I know it's clean.. I replace it every month), take a photo of the coil (which is visible from below of the AC unit), suggest buying a new AC from them if this one brakes, and that's all! They did check the outside unit but just to take a quick look. We had other AC tune ups done before with other companies and, every time, they check the coolant levels, they lightly brush the coil if it's dirty, even vacuum and use compressed air to clean where necessary. Will not hire again and not recommended at all. read more

No matter how hard you look, you will never find a company as honest and reliable as this one. Our situation was unusual because while our Aunt was in the hospital we needed her air conditioner fixed. No one who who could make a decision was able to be at the house when Brian came. He reviewed the situation and reported to my brother-in-law who was in Orlando at the time. He could have told us anything, because the unit wasn't working at all. Instead, he did a careful check of the system and reported it needed a thorough cleaning and it would work without problem. He could have told us anything. He fixed the system, charged us an incredibly fair price. Our Aunt, who is in her 80's was able to come home to a cool house. Do not hesitate to call them. read more

I used this company for 2 reasons: 1) the reviews 2) Todd's ability to sell himself well. Do not hire them for complex jobs. He sold me an AC unit that is too big for my house claiming they did not make them smaller. The noise is really loud in our upstairs bedrooms when the AC starts and the air circulation is strong. One year later, I noticed that my neighbor replaced her AC and used a smaller unit. When inquiring with other AC companies I found that the smaller unit still exists. The job cost me $6,000, my neighbor spent $4,000. Also, they had to come back a couple of times to finish the job because the unit was not sealed properly and they left debris on the roof. read more

Todd responded to my phone call very promptly; we made an appointment; and he arrived in a timely fashion. He was very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He showed me everything as he worked and made suggestions regarding my machine. There was no "hard sell" even when I decided to wait on some suggested repairs. I bought a coupon for an HVAC tune-up from Amazon Local. I called and scheduled an appointment for the following week. Todd Fitzgerald arrived on time, was courteous, respectful and very honest. I told him that I bought my house 3 years ago and bought a 3 year maintenance contract from the company that installed the system. It was twice a year maintenance. I received a bill to continue with that company at the same time I saw the coupon. I am happy that I called Southeast Cooling & Heating. Todd told me that I only needed to tune-up the system annually. He also said that I had a 10 year warranty on a major part, that the other company neglected to tell me. Where do I start. I typically hold most air conditioning companies with the same regard as used car sales people. Definitely not the case with Southeast Cooling and Heating! Todd did a great job! My AC went out after being on vacation for a week. I called a competitor on a recommendation from a friend. They diagnosed my problem wrong, did a poor job at inspecting the system, and told me I needed a whole new system since the parts weren't made any longer. I determined this was a complete an utter lie after a quick search. I priced the job out(coil replacement) and Southeast Cooling and Heating came in with one of the lowest prices. Not the lowest, but pretty close. I chose to go with them because Todd, who is also the owner, really seemed to know what he was talking about, and he responded within minutes of my request. He arrived on time, took a look at the issue, and spotted something else that was broken. He gave me his best guesstimate that this was where my leak was, and my coil was fine. He let me make the decision on what we should replace, both or just one. No hard sell on both or if I should replace the whole system. I was going to do both, but after he presented me with the evidence, he actually recommended I only do the repair on the issue he found, which was significantly less costly. He ended up being 100% correct and now my A/C is working perfectly again. If you have any A/C needs I highly recommend using Southeast Cooling and Heating. read more

I just had a repair done with Southeast Cooling and Heating and they were Excellent. At first I Spoke to owner Todd who by the way answers the phone and was able to confirm the issue we were having with the AC. Also I had called about 6 other AC companies and they were all much more expensive. Bryan came to do the work and I felt he was professional, precise and arrived much earlier than anticipated. He completed the job in a very reasonable time and still took a bit of time to pinpoint on a few things. There are times were reviews are questionable. I am glad that it was not the case here.
