So happy to have found this company! Our air went out on Sunday and my husband was trying to troubleshoot it himself. Unfortunately, they don't sell parts at Home Depot so we had to suffer without air. We called around 8 pm thinking we were going to get an answering service but Joe (the owner) picked up the phone. We explained what happened and set up a time for 11 am the next day. I got a call from Joe the morning asking if he could come by earlier because it was supposed to rain in the afternoon and if it rained, he wouldn't be able to work on our unit. Of course I told him yes. He's very thorough and explains what needed to be replaced and even gave us a tip on monthly maintenance so that our unit will last longer. Have you ever been with out A/C in the middle of one of the hottest days of the summer? I have...and it's no fun. I had a guy come out and move the thermostat from downstairs to upstairs. You see, it was EXTREMELY hot upstairs all the time, because downstairs would cool off, the thermostat would hit the desired temp and shut off...leaving the upstairs an inferno of hot air circulated by fans. NO! We have to get this thermostat upstairs...after all heat rises right? YES...I learned the hard way that it does. So, Guy 1 comes...moves the thermostat and in the case of the most unfortunate situation ever leaves because of a family emergency, leaving the AC pumping, but hot air because it was not hooked up to the unit outside. WORST. NIGHT. EVER. The next day Joe from All County came and not only fixed our problem he found a ton of other things wrong. He rewired, installed a new thermostat and fixed the unit outside that was about to blow, because of a bootleg job the previous (not Guy 1) AC guy had done. Joe explained the thermostat, gave me tips on how the air flows and what doors to leave open so there is an even flow (thus better cooling) and was an all around nice guy. That night...I had my first good nights sleep. The first time in 2 months living here that I didn't wake up sweating at 3AM. First time we put the AC at 70 (and were freezing) rather than at 62 with downstairs an icebox and upstairs still feeling like the gates of hell. Yes...this is what life should be like. In the morning it was so cold my wife refused to get up and work out...she just wanted "5 more minutes." There is something about a cold room that makes you want to sleep in. I had to call Joe from All County Air Conditioning again because my main breaker kept tripping off. I had no heat last night when it was brutally cold. He did some further diagnostic work and realized that my problem was electrical, not the air conditioning/heating unit. He gave me the name of an electrician, Bob from Excel Electrical Group. He also spoke with Bob to tell him what my problem was. Bob sent someone from his excellent company, who fixed my wiring. I now have heat. We had a typical South Florida experience with this company. All the reviews were so great and I was really looking forward to finally finding an AC company that was reliable. Well...that was misleading. We had 4 appointments scheduled over a 2 week period of time and Joe never showed up to any of them. There was always a last minute phone cancelling the appointment with some lame excuse. I've never tried so hard to pay someone for a service and have them not want the business. I called all county around 8pm Sunday afternoon. My a/c suddenly stopped working. Joe picked up the phone and treated me like I was his number one priority. He did not have to help memoir the phone but he did everything he could to troubleshoot my a/c over the phone. He even called me back an hour later to see how I was doing. My a/c is on the roof and it was dark so we agreed for next day service. Joe was at my door first thing in the morning as promised. I was very impressed with his level of service. He inspected my unit, he called the manufacturer for me and made all the arrangement a to get a motor swapped out for me under warranty, he went and picked it up and assembled it. Brought the new motor and installed not that same morning. He even gave my a/c a small tune up to ensure it runs smooth for a few more years. Another reviewer mentioned the owner was rude on the phone and interrupted them while speaking and I can attest that's absolutely true as it just happened to me. I couldn't even finish explaining what the issue was when he interrupted me telling me what was wrong with the air conditioner. It's a miracle he knew the cause of the problem before I even said what was happening. I live in Margate which shows is being in the middle of their service area and they said they don't service Margate. Been a year since I bought my condo and finally decided to get the central A/C checked out even though it's been running fine. Joe came out and inspected my whole unit inside and out and went step by step over every component he tested. I felt I could install and repair A/C on my own that's how good he explains how everything works and how to keep it running in peak efficiency. For a 10 year old unit it was in surprising good shape. There was a capacitor that was borderline bad with the outside part of the unit that I had him go ahead and replace and some mild buildup in the inside coil drain pan area. This experience has changed my view of humanity. My AC started blowing warm air at 2 in the morning. Panicked I called All County AC 24/7 expecting to get an answering service. Poor Joe, I woke him up. He tried to trouble shoot some things with me over the phone, at 2 in the morning! When they didn't work he told me he would be at the house the following morning at 11:30. He called at 11 and said he was on his way. He arrived 20 minutes early! He came and changed the batteries in my thermostat. Yup. My thermostat was working, he could've "found another problem" . He didn't call out a problem that didn't exist. Just replaced the batteries. When I tried to pay him for a service call he refused payment. What?? I insisted. He refused. This poor man that I woke up in the middle of the night came to my house early. Fixed my problem and refused payment. In my experience this doesn't happen. He is professional, reliable and honest. Joe is an expert when it comes to anything related to Air Conditioners. I called him yesterday early evening, and he answered my call promptly. This was on a Sunday! He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone! He was able to give me details about my A/C unit from the serial number - and asked me to try different things to narrow down the problem. He also educates you so you understand how an A/C unit works and how problems are caused. My problem was fixed by simply replacing batteries on the thermostat. But we would have never figured that out. I'm still amazed that he was able to diagnose the problem without making a visit. He wouldn't take any money for diagnosing and fixing my problem over the phone. I insisted that he take something because it is well deserved. But he still refused. I have already referred him to a couple of others and he will be my go-to person whenever I need A/C issues resolved. read more

I recently purchased the home two doors down for my mother to live in. She has Alzheimer's and needs around the clock care. That being said, it was very important to me when remodeling the home (all original from 1959), that everything get replaced, including the AC unit. FPL came out so I could try to score some rebate monies they might have been offering at the time. They said I qualified for an AC rebate. My regular AC "guy" works as an FPL contractor, so I had him do the work. He had some family health emergencies, so sent some workers and didn't do it himself, first time I had that experience with that particular company. AC was running all the time, but I couldn't get him to come back out due to personal issues he had. Then the cooler months came and it wasn't running as much. My mom is cold all the time, so we only have to keep it about 78. Then the cold days came! I know, we don't get many, but we had a couple this year. Mom and the caretakers were freezing! I called All County AC to help since the other company was not responding again. Joe came out right away, diagnosed the problem, and got heat into the house. He also found a small freon leak that he corrected. Two issues with the heat, the digital thermostat was installed by the other company, but was set incorrectly on the internal settings. The other issue involved the wiring of the unit itself, which Joe had to completely rewire for us. He was always polite and professional when dealing with me, the caretakers, and my mom (even with her yappy jumpy dogs)! If he troubleshoots over the phone and it fixes your problem it's FREE! Why do people feel the need to be powdered and diapered all the time? Your ego cost you a great tech and getting your a/c fixed right. The guy works alone and he can't send someone else over, so understand that before judging his schedule or how he works it. He has a very old school view on the man supposed to be mechanically inclined and he tries to resolve matters over the phone to a fault. He got angry when we couldn't understand him and he hung up on my wife. My first question to him was "do you service my area?" He said no. It was a Saturday and he had other commitments already however gave me a time in the afternoon and assured me he would show.
