Worst office I have ever experienced in my life! I highly DO NOT recommend! Very unprofessional patient experience and total negligence after my visit June 3rd. I have left several messages with the office and clinical nurse line for my biopsy results and still as of today not a word. I can not get treatment. I was seen for a full blown eczema flare. During the visit Herrera insisted that she do a biopsy of the affected area. While I understand psoriasis and Ezcema may present similarly but the fact this regular occurrence. Obvious to me without any medical training this is ezcema. The ezcema was further exacerbated because I was under a lot of stress. I extremely transparent, I also expressed that I haven't been sleeping I am constantly in a flare l was miserable, I couldn't stop itching, my skin was bleeding in areas and was beyond agitated. I was hoping after a week and a half of pure hell, to finally get some form of relief. However, despite my condition and our discussion, no medication was prescribed to help manage or alleviate my symptoms. Although it was said that there would be, the Pharmacy has no record. I am deeply disappointed by this oversight, as it has caused me continued discomfort and distress. I had to go to the ER and got Covid and I am already immune compromised! Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this dermatologist. Do you know after all of that she couldn't be bothered to apologize? Not only did I get a confirmation of my appointment that they had no record of but the entire front office staff was EXTREMELY rude. Lots of huffing and eye rolling from the employees at the front desk. I wish this was just a one off example but after seeing the reviews this seems to be a regular occurance. I scheduled and paid $500 down payment on a $1500 procedure for collagen injections . I was taken to a back room that was filled with moving boxes and trash . I waited and waited and waited for a total of 4 hours for the doctor to give me those shots . Around 30 of them all over my face . Finally the doctor rushed in the room and rapidly injected me all over my face . My eyelids were so swollen I could not close my eyes for hours . The doctor had zero personality. The only person who seemed to care was the front office lady that checked on me about every hour . If I had not paid that that deposit I would have left . I have lichen simplex chronicus and eczema and saw this doctor for years. He couldn't successfully treat the condition. I didn't scratch for 3 months as he told me to. He stated that all of my bumps and rashes, etc.. would go away. They didn't. I have at least 90% of my body covered in bumps, rashes, dark spots, scars, etc.. I tried the stupid creams he prescribed me that I wouldn't recommend due to side effects. I also wouldn't recommend his nurse. They seem to not care and now I am not able to find another dermatologist I can afford and my condition is worse now. He didn't understand that my goal was to have clear skin. He is supposed to be a dermatologist and went to college to treat these conditions. But his treatment of creams and pills didn't work. If I showed him an area of my skin where I have dark spots, he would downplay it and pretend like it was normal or something when it's obviously not. He gave up treating my condition. Been going here for about 3 years do to warts. They always take forever to get me back to my room and they never freeze the warts the right way and they don't go away or they come back. I went to another dematolgist in Marietta and the after the first visit all of my warts were gone and have yet to come back. My family and I have gone to this practice a few times over the years. My kids had a few warts removed. I thought they would freeze them off, but my daughter had a hissy fit and started crying because she was scared of having it frozen off. They decided to try this chemical instead. I didn't think it would work as good as the freezing, but low and behold those little buggers were gone in no time. I go for my dry skin and freckles. You never know when one might turn into cancer. Dr. Hougier is a very nice doctor and takes his time to explain the various treatment options. His staff is courteous and it's easy to get an appointment. The fact that this office has one star blows my mind!! I have never been to a more friendly professional doctors office. First time I called I had an emergency, a cyst popped up on my back out of no where and was super painful, they got me in next day. Martha, the physician assistant is wonderful. The office staff is very pleasant and by the 2nd visit they knew me without even having to write down my name. Surgery was scheduled for today. One hour before procedure, Rajah(?) calls and says surgery needs to be rescheduled. Huh? She first said it shouldn't have been scheduled for today because doctor was out of office. After my inquiries and frustration, she then said he was called out of office on an emergency. Which one is it?!? I made arrangements to have this done today; for my husband to take me; etc. And one hour before, you cancel! Now she wants to reschedule it for tomorrow. Really?!? I don't think so. However, I should not be surprised. When I went in for initial appointment to see the doctor, they told me he was out of the office and I had to see the PA. Had they told me that before I left home, I would have rescheduled the initial visit. They provided no notice, no consideration. I paid a doctor's co-pay to see a PA.
