As someone that has been surrounded by and worked with pottery, glazes, stoneware, and high fire kilns my entire life --- as well as a culinary & kitchenware product developer and sourcing specialist for famous chef brands for the past 5 years, my advice is: The front room is a very small showroom in comparison to the large open warehouse in the back. All is open to the general public. Trick : Check the underside of dishes to see the country or origin, as not all are made in house. If there is nothing on the underside of the dish, that means it is either made uniquely in house or domestically. Hack : Compare prices on similar outlook. If you are torn between two similar collections, the higher price may often be the imported mass produced item. Tips : Do you want stoneware or porcelain? Do your research, as porcelain may not be as durable for everyday use. Artistic reactive glazes - What you may like most, even over the shape, is the cool artsy reactive glaze applied. If so, ask if the item can be made in house in different shapes using your favorite glaze. Visit on weekdays instead of weekends, if possible, to avoid crowds. Warehouse vs climate - Visit during mild weather as the shopping warehouse environment can be very hot and uncomfortable. Take your time - some items are scattered, so you will need to dig to put a set together. They claim to be " wholesale to the public " , but the sticker prices listed are the same as major retailers. I actually bought a Magic Tree House book because it was bilingual and they had Traditional Chinese characters with bopomofo (alphabet) alongside the characters. I have never seen a bilingual book like this before! They have some cute stickers and cards here too. I also saw a small selection of snacks and condiments like chili crisp. The cashier (who was probably the owner) was very nice! She spoke English and Mandarin.

I wouldn't consider this a mall. There wasn't much to buy. There's a souvenir shop, a secondhand clothing store and a food court. The secondhand clothing store was overpriced. The food court smelled like a toilet. My daughter and I walked in there to grab a bite but the stench redirected us to the car.

I have been coming to this mall for 15+ years, and I have definitely seen it grow from what it used to be. It tends to be the most busiest on the weekends, so keep that in mind. Most of the stores are also closed on Monday as well, so just be aware of that. The mall has a massive parking lot attached too, so you'll be able to find parking. There is a food court as well that has 5 different restaurants you can choose from, and then there is another restaurant downstairs where you can have lunch/dinner. As you would probably guess, the food court options are all Indian as well as the restaurant downstairs. I definitely recommend visiting Global Mall if you ever find yourself wanting to be transported to India without having to take that long flight. The mall is located in Norcross, right off the Jimmy Carter exit.
