We needed transportation on short notice, and I found Ameritrans through a Google search. I noticed they had an A+ rating with the BBB, but there weren't many reviews available online, so I wasn't sure what to expect. After speaking with another transportation company that raised some concerns for me, I decided to go with Ameritrans and I'm incredibly thankful I did. They explained that they typically book about a week in advance, but fortunately, they had a cancellation and were able to accommodate us. Blake and Danielle were the team who transported my dad, and they were absolutely amazing. They were kind, professional, and communicative throughout the entire trip. They arrived 30 minutes early, were always happy to answer our calls when we checked in on my dad, and got him safely to Houston in a reasonable amount of time. During an already stressful situation, having a transportation team we could trust made a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend Ameritrans to anyone needing long distance medical transportation. They use fake reviews to boost their ratings. They have a janky app with pop ups and is confusing and cumbersome to use to delay you from paying. And if you walk away from your car, they will boot it within 1 minute. $75 to remove it. The parking lot attendant is hiding in an unmarked vehicle car waiting. When I called to have the boot removed and told them I paid for parking, they told me I paid at 8:36 and they booted my car before that. I have a text showing that I texted someone I was meeting at 8:37 when I got to the restaurant and a screen shot of maps showing that the restaurant is a 2 min walk from the garage. They had to literally boot my car as soon as I walked out of the garage.
