The next day Keith replied and said he will contact me soon. I did not hear back for a week and was in search of another IT company when Keith emailed me with a lot of information asking for remote access to my computers. This was the first red flag. This idiot doesn't even have time to make a phone call and wants to get a client without even talking on the phone. I asked him to call me and that I require to meet in person. It took over a month to setup a meeting in person to discuss the IT needs for my company. Keith did not even show up himself after telling me several times that he would be there. Instead he send a sub-par employee that took some information and said Keith will "email a quote". Well, it took another week to get a quote trying to charge over $200 per month per computer for support in addition to a VoIP service quote that I did not even request. I emailed him back and declined all services. A few minutes later I got a call from Keith begging to provide IT services. I told him I would think about it with the lower prices he offered on the phone and explained that I would be out of town for a month and when I returned I would let him know. Well, this moron took advantage of me being out of town and showed up to the office telling my staff that I signed a contract. Without my knowledge, he gave my staff a new phone number to call for IT services and changed my phone system to a new company and setup new phones in my office. I found out as I was boarding my flight back and saw emails emails form them demanding payment. I brought another IT company and was told they hav installed monitoring software on all my computers that will costs thousands of dollars to remove. Needless to say, law enforcement has been contacted and now federal investigators are involved. This is a warning to you. Avoid Methodology IT at all costs. They are very dishonest and will use any dishonest means necessary to get your service. By the way, all their other reviews are fake.

Finding reliable computer services is challenging and computer/IT related issues are frustrating. I…read moream not minimizing the review below, but in my experience, a lot of people think some software issues are a very simple fix when in reality, troubleshooting/repairing isn't a science. I work at a small business in Brentwood that falls into the "financial services" category, more or less. They've been using Parker Consulting for years and I started using them by default when I joined the firm. I'm thrilled with Parker. I've worked with other IT firms in the past that weren't nearly as diligent about responding to requests, ensuring critical data is backed up, and just being available. We have scheduled, weekly onsite visits but even when we've had emergencies, they've been able to assist me. I'm speaking about midnight website outages. Just today, our server was malfunctioning. We were down for about 20 minutes but they were able to get us back up and running without even coming onsite. Also, one of our execs just had a virus on his computer and lost 10 years worth of data. Everything was corrupted. It took over a weekend to get everything back to normal- they had to reinstall the operating system and then all the software programs then finally migrate all of his data (mail included) back onto the machine but they did it with nothing being lost. Doug/Terence/Keith/Ashley/Sean are all great to work with. They're responsive, polite, friendly and personable. They aren't condescending when you have a "dumb" computer issue. They're also a great resource for new software. We've gone to Keith many times for solutions to company problems and he's always had suggestions of new programs to try. Another benefit I've found in working with Parker Consulting is their ability to remote in and assist me with my computer troubles. Whether I've been home sick needing to remote into the server or at the office having issues with my print drivers, they've been able to remotely assist me which definitely speeds up the repair time because they don't need to battle LA traffic. I definitely recommend Parker Consulting. They've been really good to me.

I've been taking my laptops to Christian for about 10 years. My life is on my laptop and I trust him without question. He always checks in at key choice points. His rates are very fair. I just got my Alienware x17 r2 back from Chris. After ruling out Bios as the source of the problem, Chris determined that the Intel and NVIDIA processors were not completing handoffs, causing my laptop to have difficulties restarting (and finally unrevivable by me). To save me an expensive fix (or the cost of a new computer), Chris disabled the Intel processor and auto restart function, and invented a work around to fool the laptop into recognizing a nonexistent external monitor, which allows for smooth startup. My laptop now runs faster than ever. Thanks, Chris! It must also be said that, in this era of automated phone trees and silo-ed support staff, when every customer service experience is an insult, it is refreshing and uplifting to actually speak to Chris and receive coherent explanations. Competence and humanity are in short supply these days, which makes me appreciate Chris that much more.

It was a nightmare having to head over to an Apple Store and wait through a long line. They gave me an estimate of $700 in repairs and then even forget to send me a copy of the estimate. Working with Alex was a breeze, who kept clear communication with me every step of the way. The repair price was nearly a third of what Apple was asking from me, plus a discount for non-profit organizations! Eventually, we ran into complications. The shipment of one of the parts came in late, but Alex offered a generous discount for the tardiness, despite the fact that the shipment was beyond his own control. Later, we discovered that the battery replacement we received was not what we were expecting. It was difficult to get the correct battery for such a new model.
