Debra is wonderful. She makes the whole process much easier at a very difficult time. She goes out of her way to accommodate.

She left me sitting for 33 minutes as she had another customer she was meeting with and didn't even acknowledge I was waiting. I left after 33 minutes and now I am starting over. They also handled 7+ relatives and several friends. First of all, no they're not inexpensive but every step of the way they're patient, compassionate and respectful. I've been to funerals done by less expensive places and there's no comparison. My Mom had been ill for 23 years and she looked amazing. It was like they turned the clock back. The casket was higher quality than I saw at other places. The staff was well dressed, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The building is clean, has tasteful decor and has different rooms to accommodate different sized families. The chapel is a perfect size for every funeral our family has had there. And we've had many there. My Dad wanted a cremation with an informal get together but I still wanted (needed) to know that he would be treated with the utmost respect. I knew that would happen there. It gave me great peace to know that I could trust them completely. The staff did not pressure me to buy things I didn't want or need or could afford. (That happened to my friend at a pre paid cremation service meeting somewhere else). They handled all the paperwork and got death certificates (both certified and copies) that we all need. They explained everything in detail and were so kind when I changed my Dad's obituary notice multiple times because I had Covid and had to delay the service twice. These things matter when your heart is broken and you don't need more stress.

Having never been to a funeral before I was of no use to her "Thankfully" friends and Fairview were able to walk her through the steps needed to make decisions. I was told that the staff would be accommodating for this service and it's traditions, it was a bit out of the norm with a few hundred people attending coming from far and wide to pay their respects. I felt the need to go and visit the other day for the first time since the funeral and not remembering exactly where he was placed that day had to go to the office and have him located. The office manager and I spoke and was able to find the name but no information, the account was apparently in the "executors" name which I did not have so we had to do try and figure it out for a few minutes. She was patient and I was confused, then it "clicked" she remembered which funeral it was she "had attended it that particular day" and even drove me to the sight herself. After speaking for a few minutes she offered to pick me up and bring me back to the office when I was done but chose to walk instead and then she turned and gave me an unexpected hug before she left. The grounds are clean, appear to be well kept and there is a Methodist church within walking distance.

This place is does not exist so you can mourn the loss of someone you love in the way they deserve, but instead to gouge you of every penny they can while you are grieving the loss of someone special to you. They merely exist to make a profit off of the unfortunate passing of your loved ones and attempt to drain your wallet while you are between tears. As soon as they found out that we were not purchasing an over-priced casket from them their attitudes toward us completely changed. During our viewing they would come up to us, while we were mourning with family and friends, to discuss financial issues such as payment to them. When we asked if this matter could wait, they responded 'no' it needs to be done now. Really? Now? Also, we were forced to cut out parts of the service for my loved one because they said it would be too long and they would have to charge us extra. Too long? If we left it the way it was, the service may have run for approximately 45 minutes. Fortunately, I have not been to many funerals, but I do not consider a 45 minute service to say your final farewells and blessings a long service by any stretch of the imagination. I would actually say that is closer to the short to average length of other services I have attended. The staff here was all business. They were rude, selfish, and cold to my entire family. I would not wish the family of my worst enemy to have a service here. On a positive note, the grounds and facility were nice and well-maintained, but that is the only positive comment I can make about this place. If I could give this place negative stars I would.
