It was a very fast and proffessional service. *** My review is about the customer service of auto tek and NOT about their products. Back in March (2016) I brought my car in to get it tinted. Total 5 windows tinted. Goes as planned and they finished in about 3.5 hours, excellent. 2 days later the back tint starts to roll. I go back to the shop and have them fix the problem. While fixing the problem, they noticed a defect on the left tint and decide to re do it. A week later and I notice small particles trapped under the tinting of the side tint and also some air pockets from the back tint. I bring it BACK to the shop but they said I need to set up an appointment almost a month later to get it fixed. During the examination of the defects one of the guys said he'd rather not have to redo the back window.. And rather leave the particles trapped between the tinting. (They eventually redid them both.) I left with my appointment scheduled and I went back in May. They finished in about 2 hours but the amount of scratches on my rear brake lights is unbearable. to this day I have not returned to get it fixed. But there are still some tiny bubbles on the back window.

The first time…read moreI had Cquartz finest installed and a partial clear bra. 3 years later, I had them do some more correction and then install Modesta BC-04 (better than Cquartz) and then do a full hood, bumper, side fenders, side view mirrors, and the lip underneath the trunk opening. JC and them did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail and knowledge is amazing. Get information from him and then compare to other places. Other detailers ignorance is astounding, and it will anger you that you've been washing your car wrong this entire time. Especially when I take mine into service and ask how they wash. They just were not taught how to wash. JC and his guys will tell you how to maintain, care, and beautify it for years to come. He won't upsell you and wont overcharge. You can tell that the team's heart and soul is in every car. But there should never be a question about whether to go or not. Merely when. It is more than a regular "detail" shop. Then again these aren't people that are off the streets part time, they are truly professionals in their field and are always refining and updating their methods when it comes to skill and technology of car care. I researched everything online from C-Quartz, Modesta, Paint Correction, Wraps...you name it. Needless to say it can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming with all of the different products available on the market. Then, I came across Jean-Claude with DD Auto Spa and thank goodness I did. I met him at his shop one afternoon and he explained all of my options and the pros and cons of each. Since I had done so much research, he was extremely patient and forthcoming with his recommendations, but never ever pushed anything on me. After some time to absorb after our initial meeting, I decided going for the full car coverage of XPEL Stealth Film. Now, while it may cost more up front, it was worth the investment knowing I will hold on to this car long-term and this was the most protective, yet least maintenance option and gave me the look I was going for. Initially it was estimated 5 full days for install, but after they started tearing down and installing the first panels, it ended up taking another week, but JC kept me up to speed with his daily progress and was always in constant contact. While that could be upsetting for some, to me it said that this is a person who is not rushing through just to get paid and move onto their next job. When he does it, he does it right and will NOT compromise quality for quantity. Truly hard to find that type of dedication these days. When I picked up my car today, we went over every part meticulously. JC pointed out spots that contained some pockets of air, but that they should work themselves out while the film settles in. We scheduled a follow up call a few weeks out to assess any concerns or areas that may need attention. If you want a first class auto detailer, you must call Jean-Claude as I could not be happier with his professional crew or outcome of my six! SirusXM doesn't work unless you buy an adapter and I wasn't told this until after the fact. Knobs are now hard to turn and sticky. I asked to be fixed and they informed me they will loosen up over time. Overall good clean install and a big upgrade to my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would use Monster Customs again. If I could give 6 stars, I would…read more I had a mobile dent repair guy attempt to fix scratches someone left on my new car on the bumper and grill and he used matte black (my car is gloss black) when he told me he had the correct paint color... He also broke the bumper clips that ended up being unsalvageable according to Bobby (owner of Platinum). He got overspray everywhere and broke parts that shouldn't have needed to be replaced. So an absolute waste of $500 on top of making the car look worse than it did before he touched it. I have been looking at getting it fixed for some time now and I came across Platinum Collision Repair and saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. When I arrived I saw a bunch of cars in the shop that looked pretty much brand new so I knew I was in probably in good hands. I was instantly greeted by the owner and I showed him the damage. He gave me a free quote within 3 mins of me being there. I took some time to see if I wanted to wait a few months or do it now but after seeing person after person come to drop off their car within 5 mins of me trying to make a decision in the parking lot, I felt that was all the convincing I needed, so I got him to go ahead and do it. I dropped the car off 7-25 (Saturday afternoon) and it was done 7-29(Wednesday morning). He told me Thursday just to be safe and I get a call on Wednesday morning at 9am that it's ready. That's including them ordering a new grill, new bumper and painting. They are closed Sundays and I brought it later in the afternoon on Saturday so really it only took them 3ish days to order the parts, do all the necessary repairs to other parts not being replaced, paint the car and they even washed it for me! These guys at Platinum killed it and the owner Bobby was seriously so helpful and did his best to get me right after getting screwed over and save me as much money as possible. He even buffed the overspray off my headlight for me and it looks like a brand new headlight now. The car now looks like how it looked when it came off the delivery truck a year ago. They did the job for so cheap too! Can't recommend them enough... so much so that my mom is asking me what's the address and telling me she doesn't care that it's over an hour and a half away from her after seeing the results lol. I spent over $800 on a radio installation, and shortly afterward I began experiencing electrical issues that appear to be related to the installation. Since then, my battery has repeatedly died, leaving me stranded and needing jump starts on several occasions. Having to rely on strangers for help after investing that much money has been incredibly stressful. When I first reached out with my concerns, I didn't feel like my issue was prioritized. Instead of being able to have what appeared to be an installation-related problem addressed promptly, I had to wait several days for an appointment. I barely made it back to the shop, where I was told everything looked fine and that I should be good to go. Unfortunately, I got home and experienced the exact same issues. Now I have to bring my vehicle back yet again to have it looked at a third time. I understand that diagnosing electrical problems can take time, but this experience has been a nightmare. I feel the situation could have been handled with more urgency and better communication, especially considering I paid for a service that has left my vehicle unreliable. I'm still trying to remain patient because, at the end of the day, all I want is a properly functioning radio and a vehicle I can depend on. I'm hopeful SK Customs can identify the root cause of the problem and make it right.
