3-5 weeks to refund money. Don't pay any money upfront We…read moretook our car to classic collision in Lawrenceville Georgia to confirm the estimate by provided by the insurance company. The insurance company had already made a check out to my daughter. Classic collision stated that they couldn't provide an estimate unless the check was signed over to them. Since the car had structural damage they stated that it was very likely that the car would be totaled. The insurance company refused the repairs, thus no services were rendered. To avoid storage fees I was asked to pick up the car. I picked the car up Feb 6. I asked about return of the check classic collision stated that the money would be refunded to the insurance company even though the check was in my daughters name. 2 weeks passed still no refund. When questioned they then stated that a formal request is required by the insurance company to refund money that doesn't belong to them. Nearly 3 weeks had passed and they now state that 2 to 3 weeks is required to return my daughters money. This is unheard of with today's technology and is not fair to the consumer. Why did they have to cash the check before the insurance company approved the repairs. Why didn't they inform my daughter, that if the repairs are not approved by the insurance company it could take 3 to 5 weeks to return. Her money. They made lots of promises. Today is Feb 28, the car was picked up Feb 6, and the $2900 provided to the repair shop still hasn't been returned. My daughter need thus money to help replace her car.

This office told my insurance adjuster that I was a no-show, when in fact my scheduled appointment date had not passed. When I called to rectify, Jamie acted as if they didn't tell the adjuster, and didn't offer any apologies for the mix-up. In every conversation with Randi, she was rude and condescending. It is important to have effective communication in roles like hers, yet she acted as if I was supposed to know the process like an industry veteran. I felt like I was inconveniencing her, when I only had general questions as a first-time customer. I only came to this location because the insurance company (Alfa) of the person who rear-ended me recommended them.
