I remembered that I had received a mailer for Jets Pharmacy (family owned) that opened at 5408 Golden Isles Parkway (in front of Toyota). They filled them in 10 minutes and thanked me for my business. I have transferred all of my prescriptions.

Exterior Huge shared parking lot (in plaza with Pizza Hut and The Lunch Box. Added bonus, they have a drive thru!!! Interior Pretty barebones but clean and organized. Price / Value Just like Southern Drugs down the street, this reminds me of Healthmart pharmacies in terms of pricing. A lot of these 'mom & pop' pharmacies have amazing prices for self-pay / cash pay patients. And when Walgreen's, Walmart, CVS, Publix and Kroger tell me items are on backordered / can't be ordered, Jet's can typically get the Rx. Customer Service Pharmacist always has a smile or a head nod. Support staff is always willing to help and they make you feel like a cherished family member (asking about your family members, remembering details from past conversations). They never let you leave without thanking you for your business. Other They're closed Sundays and only open a half day on Saturdays, but they have an online refill option. For all you Amazon shoppers, they are the designated UPS pickup location for Darien. No QRC's - printed labeled boxes only. Overall Great little spot that reminds me of my childhood.

I had already been trying for approximately two days to obtain prescribed medication when, while I was at the drive-through during severe weather, a transformer was struck and the pharmacy experienced a power interruption. I completely understand that CVS could not control the weather or the transformer failure. My complaint is about how I was treated and directed afterward. After being told the transformer had been hit, the drive-through window was closed without giving me meaningful instructions about how I could obtain my medication elsewhere. I then approached a CVS employee outside the store, explained that I had been unable to obtain my prescribed medication, and asked what I should do. Rather than immediately helping me identify an appropriate next step, he repeatedly emphasized that he was not a pharmacist. Eventually, I was directed to a CVS on St. Simons Island. I drove there only to learn that there was a prescription/documentation requirement that prevented the situation from being resolved as I had expected. That information had not been clearly communicated to me before I made the trip. For transparency, I became frustrated during the interaction and used profanity while expressing that I felt my situation was being dismissed. I own that. However, the central issue remains: a customer experiencing interrupted access to prescribed medication needed clear, accurate, compassionate direction during an unexpected pharmacy shutdown. I believe CVS should review this incident and improve its procedures for helping customers during pharmacy outages, including training employees in trauma-informed and person-centered communication. People seeking medication are not simply transactions. Clear communication, dignity, and appropriate direction matter--especially when access to prescribed medication has already been interrupted.

I initially didn't trust SSI CVS after all the mayhem from the Brunswick store, and wanted to go to Jacksonville, but SSI's pharmacists proved to be competent and responsible. They understand accountability to a client who can't sit around waiting missing a daily dose. I appreciate their professionalism, relatively worlds away from Brunswick, and compared to my slacker CVS at home, more accountable too.

Although some aisles were blocked while employees stocked, many other aisles were clear and less foot traffic than other grocery stores. We easily found everything we needed and the selection was great. Checkout was really fast and no lines. Only one star was lost for the aisles being blocked and the tons of carts in the parking area. Otherwise, we love this store and will be here often in the future.

I was in Jekyll Island for a conference and we had candy at our trait booth. The attendees ate all of the candy the very first day and I needed to run out to the grocery store and buy more. I chose the Harris Teeter on Saint Simons because it was a familiar brand. I ended up getting a foot-long sub and had half for dinner that night and then saved the other half for another evening. I randomly was driving around the island and went to the Jekyll Island club, which was absolutely gorgeous. I went back the next day with my leftover sub from the hotel refrigerator and had a picnic under the beautiful several hundred years old white oak trees. It was such a special moment that I had to take pictures. It was an ideal picnic.
