We tried multiple handyman references and floor companies that said they could not do it but Footprints Floors did the job and did fantastic work. They left the site better than it was prior having also fixed some trim that had lifted over time. This was not required, but Mike's team did it anyways. Top notch. If we need to install any floors in future this the company I trust to get it done right.

It…read morewas delay after delay, his staff showing up when they wanted to, showing up late to go and do other quotes while on the job, neglectful in their duties (did not cover floors and left our home an absolute disaster), put 3M duct tape over the holes he (owner) created in our sheetrock because they covered our electrical receptacles and literally slapped mudding over it. He does not have a standard crew and has no pre-planning ability thus leading to unnecessary delays. We decided to part ways with him as our job was scheduled to be completed in January...it's March and still "looking for someone to assist him". We should have stuck with our initial thoughts of severing the contract last month, but decided to give him (owner) a chance to fix it. When we had enough and asked him to finish the paint job that he was fully paid for and we would complete the project at a later time he came to our home gathered his tools and left without completing the job. I have receipts showing he was paid in full, video of the state of our home, text messages and contract to prove all of this. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. He has multiple names for his business and recently merged with his wife using Navy & Grey designs! We didn't do any business with the interior design so I wouldn't deter anyone from trying her services. Communication was great, every time I called he either picked up the phone or called me back quickly, he was always so patient explaining what was needed and why. All of them went beyond what was expected or required. The materials they used were top quality so that I would never have another problem. The tile was laid so beautifully and much of the floor had to be laid down one piece at a time. The frame is so expertly mitered and joined. They cleaned everything up perfectly afterward. It was all a perfect experience. I would not hesitate to have them again or recommend them to anyone.

I had hired this contractor to renovate my house and add a detached garage. I had assumed a…read moreconstruction loan for this project which would not pay until an invoice was sent, and an inspection was completed. I had to pay for each inspection individually. Me being a contractor, in a different field, had knowledge of the proper order of procedure for this project to be completed properly. In the initial meeting, addressing the issue of a dip in the floor was my main concern. I was assured that it was no problem. When it came time to the actual repair, he told me that he did not know how to fix it. So, I had to fix it myself. Also, I had to go back over his extremely shotty workmanship on the sheet rock, the painting, and the plumbing as he continued to drag his feet through this project over an 8-month period. He constantly wanted me to pay him before the actual payment was sent from the lender. Which I did to help him out because of his lack of funds. Big red flag! He was unable to keep the proper information and paperwork to the lender, in a timely manner, to keep the payments flowing. Needing to move back in, I worked nights and weekends, in the house, to get it to livable conditions. I paid his last invoice of nearly 12,000.00 and have not been reimbursed from the lender because of his lack of completion of just the renovation itself. After being ghosted for a couple of months, he finally responded with a text stating that it was too much of a hassle to send invoices and have his work inspected before payment. The garage was never even started. I have wires for the exterior lights hanging out of my house. I tried my best to help this fellow to complete this project by buying and delivering materials, cleaning up his constant messes, going over his work, paying him out of my pocket, and being patent with his procrastination of completing just the renovation. I hope no other homeowner has to go through this. Beware!
