Southern Electric did a great job of restoring my electric after a bolt of lightning hit my electric meter and surged through my house. Bill and Jaeden checked my fuse box and added a new GFI in the kitchen. They also found that my bedroom touch light sensors had blown out. Brad and Aiden came out right away a few days later to fix my master bedroom switches which I didn't know weren't working until I plugged in a spare lamp. Their price was reasonable and they responded very quickly to my crisis. I now have electicians I can trust! Have to say that that was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a service call. Called them yesterday for a quote on changing two outside light fixtures. The quote was extremely reasonable so I asked when they could do the work. They said would the next day be ok. I said sure. They called me today when they were about 30 minutes out and when they showed up I met two very nice gentleman. They were courteous and efficient. It took less than an hour to complete the work and it looks great. I am so happy with this company that the next time I need electrical work done they will be my go to. I have used Southern Electric and Construction on several occasions over the last year or so. They have been masterful in their work, quick to respond, willing to offer suggestions and solutions, clean up as the work progresses, and are reasonably priced. Bill and Brad (Father and Son) were exceptional. They bounce ideas and solutions off one another to get the work done. On three separate occasions, they successfully repaired a double-tap on my circuit panel which was was keeping me from renewing my homeowners insurance, installed indoor security lights in my home, re-wired a couple of outside lights to be on the same circuit as my indoor security lights, which are now all operated from one wall timer, installed a new doorbell, replaced all my indoor florescent lights with LED lights, and replaced six outdated outside lights with new LED lights. I recently referred them to a neighbor, who had them do some work on her home, and she was thrilled with their work. She thanked me profusely for the referral. I couldn't be happier with these guys! I called for an estimate and the owner was out within 24 hours. I had an estimate that was a lot lower than what I was expecting in another 24 hours. The owner, Robert, explained everything verbally and spelled everything out on the estimate. The father and son team that did my work (and their apprentice) were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, were professional, explained everything, checked with me several times to make sure they were doing exactly what I wanted, and they cleaned up everything they used. Friendly, efficient, and didn't mind my farm animals wandering around getting into everything, lol! They were such a bunch of nice guys.
