I had two other companies that were in the neighborhood approach me about service but quoted higher prices. I had to schedule a few days out but no problem for me. I was super excited to finally get to use The Tree Lady Company because I had heard so many good things. I had other quotes that were significantly lower but I decided to use The Tree Lady Company. To say that I am disappointed is a huge understatement. While the crew was wonderful and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, a sentimental piece of yard art that a good friend of mine had made for me was broken. But that's not what I'm giving the 1 star for. I specifically asked for all the dead twigs to be removed because they are constantly falling out of the tree. I did not realize in the quote that they will only do 2 inches diameter or more so I misunderstood the job and I would have NEVER hired them if they were not going to do what I asked for. When I reviewed the tree with the owner, I specifically asked that all the loose branches/twigs be taken down so I assumed that's what would happen. Unfortunately I am left with all these dead twigs still in my tree. The response from the lady in the office was that it would be another $800 on top of what I already paid which was already much higher than my other quotes. So so so disappointed. The Tree Lady then responded to my review on Google shifting the responsibility to me as the customer. Their response is too long to post here but this is mine: Response: no way shape or form did they move anything. I asked them if they would move it if they thought it would get damaged nothing was moved and yet my piece of yard work which was by the driveway was broken. As for the raccoons... It took very little time to get the raccoons out of the tree, maybe 10 or 15 minutes so that is fairly insignificant to the amount of time that was spent on my property. MORE time was spent cutting the neighbor's tree because of the severe damage done by the lift when your crew could not navigate around the branch​ that eventually had to be cut because of that damage. I8 made it ABUNDANTLY clear that I wanted the deadwood cleared out and it made no sense to leave it there since your crew was in that part of the tree which is lower to the ground and easily accessible. We are not talking about trimming small branches, we are talking about removing DEAD wood. Why would any reputable company that cares about their customer satisfaction leave dead wood behind? This is sheer laziness and bad customer service. I do not accept your response and will continue to be disappointed while you attempt to put the burden on me. It might have taken an additional 10-15 minutes to clear out the deadwood. I do not have the means to reach it myself or I would have and that was why I hired you. Poor choice on my behalf.

They cut down the trees and even assisted in clearing the debris out of the way. They were friendly and professional. The only thing is their business card says they accept credit cards but he asked that we pay with a check. So we did. I only wish that was shared earlier.As well as we asked that they trim back my neighbor's tree that was hanging over my drive way. Every weekend end we have to clean up fallen leaves and twigs. If not its causing the driveway to get stained. Our neighbor agreed however Lazaro Leal only remove 3 or so small branches which made no difference in the trees hanging over our driveway. When inquired I was told that cutting too many branches can kill the tree. I understood and stated I will contact and arborist for best course of action. It was a difficult job as it was rotted from the inside out. They did a fantastic job and were able to get it down safely. They cleaned up afterwards and hauled away the tree. I like Duffey Tree Care a lot and have used them twice. Once for removing 2 trees and trimming 3,…read moreand most recently for trimming 5 large oaks. These guys are certified arborists and their priorities seem to be: 1) keeping your trees healthy, 2) allowing wind to move through the trees to make them safer in hurricanes, and 3) keeping the shape visually pleasing. What they do is a science and they are not going to over-trim your trees or damage them. They have great equipment, are fully insured and are nice to work with. They arrive when they say they will and clean up after themselves. Are they expensive? I don't know as I didn't get any other estimates. However, I had no tree damage from Hurricane Milton - my neighbor spent $10k on cutting and removing downed trees from his roof, fences and yard.
