So let me start by saying I just had two vehicles detailed and I am more than pleased. I only had a small window of time to get the cars cleaned; 24 hrs notice and one day of availability. James was courteous and prompt on the phone working the schedule to accommodate me. Sure enough he said 10 am the next day I would have a tech at my house. I expected to wait until noon but wouldn't you know it Rochelle was on my doorstep 10 'til 10. I love punctuality. She asked where the hose hookup and electrical outlets were which i pointed out and handed her the keys. Six hours later I had two immaculate cars. Total cost for an suv and a sedan (wash, wax, clay bar, interior vacuum, shampoo, and cleaning) was $300. You say steep for a car wash huh? Well they came to me, were on time, used their own materials minus water and electricity. And left my cars looking like new. Of course they aren't mind readers there were a couple of nooks i pointed out during the post wash inspection and Rochelle was more than happy to accommodate (hidden fold down seats in the back of the suv). Found out about James through a Groupon deal and would highly recommend him to anyone in the area. He showed up in the rain having felt bad about my recommended reschedule (we had already rescheduled once before), and spent a few hours doing the interior of my vehicle. Amazingly, he was able to get almost every piece of dog hair out. The leather was nicely conditioned and the floormats pristine. Because it was raining, he rescheduled the exterior wash and wax for a later date free of charge. The only parts that were missed were corners of the interior windows. I can't dock him for that as it was pouring rain and he had to do it with the doors closed. James started this business from the ground up and appears to be the only employee. In order to make room for us, he offered to arrive as early as 6am or as late as 5pm. He's extremely polite and his prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other detailing companies of equal quality and thoroughness of craftmansip. We purchased a deal they were offering on groupon and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, communication and of course the great work. Got the exterior wash and wax on both our cars. This husband and wife combo knocked out both of our cars in an hour or two. My wifes 10yr old subaru looks like a different car. I'd had my newer SUV washed and waxed at another car wash a few weeks back and almost got a rain check because it still looked good, but when they were done it was noticeably shinier! They also did all the windows inside and out which made a difference too. The cutest part was that they brought my wife out and covered her eyes, like they were doing the big reality show reveal! My truck was smelling pretty moldy when Southern Extreme Details came to the rescue. James made the process very easy by responding to a Yelp request for a quote. He then was able to text in order to answer questions and set up an appointment. While scheduling was not smooth, James kept in communication and we were able to set up a date and time. The tech came to my house, plugged into an outlet, and got to work. She did a great job and the car smelled fresh once done. You could tell she did a good job, because the mats were still damp from being shampooed. Best of all, the price was very reasonable and payment was easy via Venmo. After getting my car vacuumed and shampooed a couple of times at a popular detailing spot in West Ashley, I decided to go with S.E.D. out of Mt. Pleasant. I work in the outdoor industry and use my car for work so it frequently needs a lot of love, but the place I kept taking it to left me underwhelmed. I'm so glad I found S.E.D. and met James, who drove out to my apartment complex and spent 2 hours vacuuming and shampooing all of my seats and carpets, and polishing all of the interior surfaces. I'm sure it wasn't pleasant for him to get into all of the nooks and crannies (I eat in my car...a lot) but he did and now it looks better than ever. He's the best, and such a professional. What a top-notch detail service. Bought a Groupon and hoped for the best and that's exactly what I got even though the service was discounted, quality was not. The owner James was in constant contact from the time I made the appointment, to the day of to let men know the tech was on he way Speaking of the tech, Rochelle was top notch. James is super nice as were the guys he sent over to put together furniture for me. It was easy to get in touch with James and the price was as expected. I got in a bind because the original people I hired did not have good insurance. James has all the right insurance and his crew came right away to put together furniture etc. Very grateful to find them as I was only in South Carolina for a limited time and this company really came through for me. I just moved to Charleston from the West Coast.. where we don't typically experience flooding. Sure enough, my car got stuck in a flooded street during a tropical storm. The car works fine but wreaked of mildew. I researched a few different car detailing companies but Southern Extreme Details had the most & best reviews. James worked his tail off for my business...and it was a low paying Groupon for him. The next available appointment was several weeks away, so he offered to come to my house on a weekend at 0700. Of course, it rained. He thoroughly cleaned the inside and rescheduled for the outside. After the outside clean and wax, it looks like I have a brand new car. I am particular, and Southern Extreme exceeds my high standards. Prices are cheaper than others who do less stellar work, and you don't have to leave your house. James did a wonderful job of power washing the house and washing the windows and left no mess! We haven't had the windows of our beach house cleaned in years because the salt air just smudges them again and I was dreading the mess. The windows are sparkling and the sun is shining in! He power washed our porches, outside stairs and railings. They no longer have green mold and are not slippery when it rains. James works very hard. He is responsive and personable. This is the second time we've had our car detailed by Southern Extreme and we were just as happy as before!! If you need someone to pressure wash your house, we found the best company. It seems impossible sometimes to get people to come out to Awendaw. Southern Extreme Details LLC came out to the house last night at 6, he added me to the schedule after he finished a full day because he knew we needed it done as soon as possible.
