Utterly useless company. Terrible service. Maintenance is a joke. I just finished sucking 25 or 30 gallons of water out of my wife's studio because their inept install never hooked up a moisture sensor to the catch tray below the unit. On top of that, the whole unit is out of level which means nothing drains properly, to begin with. The tech has been out 3 times now and just changes the filters and constantly claims its a clogged drain line that they "fixed". They have yet to actually fix anything and I'm still dealing with an hvac that doesn't work consistently and leaks condensation into my ceiling. read more

They did work through my home warranty company and caused AC leaks which caused damage to my drywall. They also came on 9 different occasions to fix the same problem every time. They milked the job until I was sick of it and requested a new contractor. When the new contractor came out, they took pictures of the jimmy-rigged work this guy did. He taped stuff up and spliced things together...just a HORRIBLE COMPANY! DO NOT USE THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT! When I called to ask him to repair the damage he caused, he hung up on me. read more

Just waited 7 hrs for them to show up for Refrigerator repair..no call no nothing. They should be ashamed terrible way to do business.

Company practices home warranty fraud. Do not use. Company was contacted on 9 November for a heating issue. After technician (I think is the owner) showed up everything was normal on the first visit. When he left he stated there was a Freon issue. He said he would contact the warranty company and get the work order approved. When I called the warranty company a few days later they said that I was approved for a new condenser but would have to pay $400 for additional items that were not covered. I approved the work order. It took the technician 3 weeks to finally come to my home. He no-showed 3 times. After finally arriving he asked me to pay for the $400 and hopefully the refill of Freon would work. I asked him about the previous work order that was approved for a new condenser and he said that wasn't the case. So I asked if he wanted to call the warranty company to figure this out and he said no and to pay him the $400. The service was not competed and he left. Very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. My home warranty company assigned me this service provider to repair my air conditioner on June 6. It is now July 4, and I am sitting in my house with temperature at 89 degrees. The repair person came on June 14, he couldn't make any repairs because he said he had to order a board. He never mentioned to me that there was a leak but I found out later that's what he told the home warranty company. He asked me for a $100. service fee. I told him no because my contract says $75. He took the $75 and said he would order the board. I kept calling to stay on top of this situation because the weather has been so hot. I called on Friday, June 22. He came on Monday, June 24, to install the new board. After about an hour he turned on the air. It was cool but not cold. I thought It might take a while to get cooler. I gave the repair person another $200 for what he said was 8 lbs of Freon. He said he would email me the receipt. All I received was a receipt for $200. He never gave me a receipt showing the work completed. I texted my family who was visiting me from Georgia at 3:06 pm to tell them the air was working. (they came to visit me but had to stay somewhere else because my air was not working) At 4:43 pm I texted them back to say the air conditioner was not working and immediately called Southern MD Refrigeration. I was told someone would be at my house on Tuesday, June 25. I called that morning and he said he was in Virginia and would be there in a few hours I waited all day, he never called or came by. When I finally call Southern MD Refrigeration, he said he came by and rang the door bell 5 or 6 times. That's a lie! because someone was there all day. I have a one level home and if he was at the door why not call me, he had my phone number. I am livid. I ask if he can come back and check the air, we get into an argument. I realize things are spiraling out of control and I calm down and ask him to lower is voice. He continues to yell, my son gets on the phone and they continue arguing. He tells my son to get another company and hangs up on him. My son calls him back. He hangs up again. I call the home warranty company and tell them what happened. They said I have to use this provider. They tell me to hold on the line and they will give them a call. The home warranty rep came back to the phone and said So MD Ref. will be to my home on Wednesday, June 26. at 10:00 am., of course, no one called or showed up all day. I called the home warranty company and said So MD Ref. was a no call or show. They put me on hold and called So MD Ref. They did not answer. I said that's fine because I don't trust them and I don't want them back on my property. The home warranty company put me on hold and called again, still no answer. They assigned me another service provider and after waiting two days to hear from them, I was told that they don't service my area. Southern MD never repaired my air conditioner and took my money.
