I know 50 year old obese men who can do more than my 16-year old son who has never been able to do what his friends can do, but evidently my son can't navigate the market without having to rest because he doesn't exercise enough. Everything can be boiled down to exercise. Twitter him. Asante page all about exercise. He is biased and that's his madonna. He has a problem. In a one hour appointment he reduced the chest pains, shortness of breath, nausea, exhaustion, muscle & joint pain and so much more down to a neat little package: he needs to exercise. Despite the fact that has not changed anything in the past. I am a mom who has watched her son struggle for nearly his entire life. I worry, slay me now. Frankly, I'd like to see him spend three months (his timeline) in our house and tell me then that everything can be fixed with exercise. As if my son has sat in a chair for 16-years and done nothing. But he is the expert, right? My son says: "I'm here for a good time, not a long time". It's your choice. I'm with my kid.

extremely rude, judgemental and condescending staff. Dr Martin is young and good looking, but…read morevery unprofessional in appearance and mannerisms. His sutures look like a 2 year old sewed them, with very LARGE scar on a little pacemaker. I told him I like to wear low cut tops, so he put the pacemaker at my clavicle so its visible with a high top shirt even. After being treated poorly for 2 years I transferred my care to PMMC. Even the cardiologists there thought a weird placement for the pacemaker, and a very poor suture line. I am not alone in my thoughts. I took my husband with me once, he couldn't believe how rude the staff the was towards me.(esp in the pacemaker clinic) Since it was new to me, I wasn't used to the feeling when pacer kicked in and thought my heart was having PVC's. They treated me like I wa a crazy person, and wouldn't make me an appt to see the Dr. The Nurse Practitioner told me it was the blood going by my inner ear that was causing the PVC feeling in my chest. (okay sure) When I went to PMMC, they explained the entire thing to me (2yrs after having it) I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a medical professional, EVER! And I have been an RN for 35 yrs! One would think a little professional courtesy would at least be in order, but NOPE! I was treated like I was a homeless crazy nut. (especially by him and his nurse practitioner) I do NOT recommend Dr Martin or his Staff at Rogue Valley Medical Center. If they treat a fellow medical pro in this manner, how do they treat someone who has NO knowledge of what is going on? I feel sorry for the old ppl that go to him, and the vulnerable. In addition, after the procedure, he went out and told my minister and a church elder, he had a "hard time putting me out due to my drug use". WHAT? I was prescribed pain meds for scoliosis, a degenerative disease of the spine (gets worse with age) What business is it of his to tell that to my church members? I was appalled that I was treated like a drug addict and rumored to be one in front of my pastor. His notes on my permanent record also reflect his opinion, so wherever I go now will read his personal opinion which should be objective, not subjective HIS conclusion of prescribed meds "makes me a drug addicted homeless person" was humiliating. I am neither! I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my 60 yrs of living. I will NEVER set foot in his office again, and do NOT recommend him as a physician, certificate or not, he is very unprofessional. He will NOT be replacing it. (remember, this review was written my a medical professional)
