Bravo Dr. Reed ok ..so I sprained my ankle 10 yrs ago which did not allow a good mobility whilst walking.. which caused a tight calf muscle leading to pelvis instability.. for the unbalance I I have unconsciously holding myself up with all the wrong muscles and I know better. Then sitting for hours on a plane and running to a connection in Munich with my dog caused a pulled groin muscle which then contributed to walking 'weird' for my 3 month life in Italy.. as I have to walk to get groceries and to basically go anywhere etc. Long story short. I told him I never been chiropractor formally before and I don't want any cracks or jostles in my joints. He was very attentive and suggested 2 cracks ... which I totally didn't mind at that point, so now muscle Tension is released, increased hip rotation and an ' unjammed ankle Highly recommended! Especially if it's your first experience They have expanded to 10 offices in under 10 years sporting all kinds of help for you! Just call them ... super nice on the phone and will take special care. Dr Hutchinson seemed like a likeable normal guy who does his practice well. However he is very unprofessional in his scheduling. I had booked 2 separate appointments weeks ago, but then I received a call today saying he had to cancel one because "he decided he's changing his schedule" and that was fine. I figured something came up. However, 20 minutes later I get another call he decided to cancel my other appointment on a completely different day and week once again just because "he decided to change his schedule" I run 5 seperate business's 2 of which I own and in doing so i know how to... And how not to do business. No reason cancelations back to back with clients is how you lose business. If I had a easy going schedule it didint affect this might not be such a problem but I work 7 days a week 365 and spent alot of time trying to make a schedule that I could work around for some self care since I'm in constant pain from my accidents. I can't just change appointment times whenever someone feels like it. The Massage Therapist are okay here and I will continue using them. And receptionists are phenomenal. Dr Hutchinsons, I would not count on or plan your schedule around if you need adjustments. You can't depend on him. read more

This worse staff I've ever come across. As far as being in a community like Ashland you should be ashamed of yourselves. Whoever owns these establishments should re evaluate the way you are running your business. Your management is cold, your rules are extreme. I watched so many people get turned away because they walked in 2 minutes late coming in from Medford and even Mt.Shasta. The manager in Ashland is clearly a very unhappy woman and just wants to make other people's lives unhappy. She's cold and rude, and even her staff agrees so. I have talked to multiple staff members and although they will not say it to her face, as they are scared to get fired, she is a miserable woman that gives no space for humans error but instead goes out of her way to not be kind or understanding. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The sweet guy at the front desk in Ashland just seems so embarrassed to have to stand behind this lady. I'll be looking for a chiropractic office that is kinder and has more of a human caring experience. I would not tell anyone to go here. read more

I wish I looked at the reviews before I went to the Ashland clinic. I have been a patient for 4 years and hurt my lower back. I showed up 5 minutes late because of construction. The next patient was already there and Dr. Miguel saw him instead and refused to see me! I mean, 5 minutes late!!! Would a primary care physician do the same thing? A specialist? A dentist? A lawyer? Anyone? If you want to be treated like a thing or an object, yes, go there. If you want to be treated with compassion, stay away. You are not a person there. I called to get a same day appt they did squeeze me in to see Dr. Julie Elbon she was very rude and short kind of like I was a inconvenience most Drs. will talk about how to make you better stretches etc... Dr. Baines and Dr. Reed are excellent chiropractors. Definitely feel better after seeing Both of them. I get chronic headaches and they defiantly support me well with getting rid of them. They do have some good massage therapist. I mean excellent! The building is nice and clean Easy parking I have had many massages throughout my life. I try to get one a month. One of the ones I got there I would give a 3.5 on a scale of 1-10. Disappointing. On the other hand I finally found a massage therapist I see most often and she is amazing! I went a few times and received adequate chiropractic treatment. Rather than seeking to do a wholistic adjustment, the doctor only adjusted areas that I specifically mentioned without doing much examination to ensure everything else was in order. I also received unsolicited commentary on the lifts I was doing in my lifting regimen. The final straw was receiving a bill for a co-pay on a day that I did not receive treatment. Admittedly, I was running late because of work and walked in about five minutes late. I was told that it was too late to receive treatment, even though I had typically waited at least ten minutes when I was previously on time. Later I received a bill for the "co-pay." I will not go back to them or recommend them to anyone. read more

Good service, outrageous payment. I went in to get an adjustment and a massage here back in October, and I was told that insurance would be able to cover most of the fees. The service itself was good and made me feel better. However now I'm being forced to cover the total cost ($400) because for some reason they couldn't sort things out with the insurance company. Not sure if it's an insurance issue or not but if you're looking for service that doesn't involve a lengthy and frustrating financial aspect, don't come here. read more

Dr Kelty is a chiropractic artist. He peacefully combines his extensive knowledge of the body systems with his stellar therapeutic technique. I've experienced chiros that heard their patients in and out in a rush. Dr Kelty has highly developed palpation (sense of touch) skills. He does well thought out tissue preparation which is somewhat uncommon among chiros. I injured my back, pelvis and hips which caused acute pain and loss of range of motion. In a short period of time I was moving more freely with a substantial decrease in pain. I'm continuing to see Dr Kelty and their qualified massage staff until fully recovered which I anticipate in just a few more weeks. read more

Dr. Julie Elbon maybe the rudest, least caring doctor I have ever seen. My first visit she literally scoffed at me. She has an obvious superiority complex. I had no idea what to expect having never been to a chiropractor. She explained nothing. I left feeling horrible emotionally. My second visit she was a tad nicer but made me feel dumb for asking what a roller was? (I'm still not sure other than it's styrofoam) Every time she was in a huge hurry and made it clear she didn't have time for small talk. She wouldn't even respond when I spoke to her. Third visit she acted completely irritated when I finally asked what was going on with my back. Why certain things were happening. She didn't help me off the table during any of the visits. Just sat back and watched me struggle. I have zero idea why she is in this line of work. Her bed side manner is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. The front is hit and miss between the offices. And getting someone to call you back is like pulling teeth. The ONLY good thing about my visits was the second massage from the gentleman who actually took time to care for me. The first massage the girl talked the whole time and actually massaged maybe 15 minutes out of the 30 she was in the room. I asked for the gentleman the second visit. I have switched to a new chiropractor and won't be looking back! read more

Great place! I had some issues with them on billing, but they were more than happy to fix all the issues. They do a wonderful job, just make sure you really understand the billing before you leave. They have multiple codes for different things and some are not covered by insurance. Make sure you mention that you are only doing what you insurance will cover. Eric Reed has the hands of a god! Way overpriced. Nice office, staff, etc but I was absolutely shocked when I got my bill. It was more than double what they promised me would be the most I would pay when I called and inquired. I called to find out how to get a gift card & was told to come on down, to which I did right away. The woman working the front desk, who was new, huffed & puffed straight out the gate at my, "Hi, I'm here to get a gift card". She then, without saying anything to me, got on the phone & apparently called someone. She told me that she was new and they got a new machine & she didn't know how to use the machine and only the Ashland branch manager did but could only call the Medford manager. I could feel there was more that could be done but was being met with a strange sense of belligerence. I asked why she couldn't call the Ashland manager & she said she didn't think she would pick up and refused to even try. I said, "I've never heard of a manager not being available. Isn't that part of their job? Can you not just write me up something & then it can be switched over to a gift card later so I don't have to come back?" She said she couldn't & I left & called the woman from my car who told me to come down a 1/2 hr earlier, asking if there was anything that could be done. She told me that the Ashland branch manager lived outside of cell phone service range & I expressed that I've never heard of a manager being unavailable like that". She was very nice though & arranged for the manager to call me the following morning, to which she did. I came in and got my card. There was never any apology either in person or on the voicemail for my having to come x2. I just got a call several days later by the Ashland branch manager asking for "my side of the story" & said everything listed above. She apologized & also made excuses for the woman being rude right off the cuff, saying that maybe she was just intimidated, which makes no sense. She said that she was out to a celebratory dinner & the woman was just trying to be polite to her by not bothering her. She said she didn't know how to do the machine anyway, which is different than what the front desk woman said. She said that I said, "I'm not leaving till I get my card", which I never said. She said she had it on video but refused to show it to me when I asked. She said that she had to come in and comfort the woman as she was scared of me. I said, "so she'll call you for her own personal unfounded infantile reasons but not to help a client? This is ridiculous and not my bag. If you want to comfort her for my asking reasonable questions then that's your business but I don't need to hear about it as if I did something wrong. I've worked in customer service for all my life and perhaps she's more suited to the back of the office. I would personally ,,,". She interrupts me and says in a raised tone, "Melissa, I'm not going to fire her and if there's ever another altercation, you will be discharged". I said, "That's fine, go ahead and discharge us all (myself and children) now. This is absurd". read more
