A woman buying a large bag of junk silver was being helped to her car by one of the workers when I arrived, and the staff of four was busy working behind the scenes. One of them found coin capsules that would fit my coins and I looked at some secondary market 1 oz silver rounds - purchasing one at only $1 over spot - which had me considering more! My neighbors, long-time residents of Grants Pass, recommended Burton as they know him personally. They trust his expertise. I had him look at two gold coins and a large cent. I was promptly greeted and I explained what I hoped could be done with the watches. The person who greeted me told me that it could be 9 months to up to 1 YEAR before the watch specialist could look at them. I asked about one in specific (a 1930s Omega watch) and how much that would be, and unsurprisingly that was estimated at between $150-250 for cleaning and any repairs.
