Went Friday night to enjoy a relaxing evening. Was greeted right away by the hostess, and sat at a high top by the pool tables. The hostess told us the waitress would be with us momentarily, however, after 10 minutes waiting, we went up to the bar to order our sodas.(don't judge) lol they really were not busy at all for the waitress to not be as attentive to us. The band was a first time band at the location so they were starting songs and then stopping songs when they realize the patrons weren't into it. Ended up sitting outside since the weather was nice and truly just enjoyed a relax full evening. Loved the gator bites! They were not chewy or salty. We also ordered the Special dessert for Saint Paddy's day week, which was a cheesecake. It was very good. read more

Boonies was recommended by fellow campers - and specifically the meatball parm sandwich. Meatball parm is a fav so of course I gave it a shot and it was one of the best I've ever had! The meatballs to sauce to cheese ratio was dead on - just right. I didn't eat too many fries (they were good!) wanting to save calories for the meatballs. Wayne's sandwich was not as good. Service was on point both bartenders were friendly and attentive. We had fried pickles and we shared a 12oz ribeye with sweet potato fries. Pickles were small spears vice chips were very good the steak was good needed just a little bit more seasoning but cooked perfectly to a medium rare and the sweet potato fries were spot on. Ok where do I begin I met the security guy Alex as soon as I walked in and said hello introduced myself lol and he said try the wings. You're gonna love the food and the music. we immediately love the atmosphere. The music started and I said this is gonna be a fantastic evening. McKenzie came over. She was beautiful, sweet and lively. She was so much fun. She suggested so many things we started with the wings. They were absolutely delicious. we ordered smash burgers and I was in the mood for chicken so I ordered the Alice Springs 's chicken. All the food came out in a timely fashion, hot and fresh, and it was absolutely delicious. The music was out of this world I got up and danced quite a few times. It was so much fun. It was our first time here and we need to come back. We will bring lots of people with us, great place to watch a football game or any sports at all can't wait to enjoy the music again. My friends and I came to see the band Never Say Never Play. It was our first time there and our server, Hayley, was super nice and attentive. We just had drinks, so didn't try the food. The ladies bathroom was very clean with 2 stalls with full sized doors. That's always a plus. There was plenty of room on the dance floor. Based on the stars I thought I would check it out one day, for lunch. The sign by the road was hard to make out, but the facade let me know right away, this was the place. It's a very spacious place inside, with a good size bar, large stage for shows, and a few tables and booths. We were sat right away, being lunch time on Saturday, and there were about 10 people already there. The porch is half smoking and half not, but that only works when the wind is right. Our waitress was very quick and in great shape! The food... I ordered the gator appetizer, which the quantity, size, and quanlity did not match the price. The pieces were small, had excess breading, and there wasn't a lot there. Oh well. Then my friend and I ordered burgers and fries, of which they were pretty good. He's into well done burgers and crispy fries, of which both were to his liking, and my burger was cooked to the right temperature, but the onions tasted weird. Ordered the cheese curds smallest order I have ever received for what they were charging, not order them. Flatware was very dirty wrapped in a napkin. Food under tables that wasn't swept. 2 for 1 Happy Hour, or so they say. Ordered a double (at waitresses suggestion) twice. Full price and then some. Seems all doubles don't count, so get this.. two sandwiches to the tune of about $26, and four mixed drinks (one requested with well) came to around $90, plus tip! Ordered dinner to go based on solid reviews on yelp, this was our first time ordering dinner from boonies as we have had our doubts about the quality of the food. Well we should have gone with our gut instincts, the meal was below average. Honestly we would have enjoyed going to Culver's more than the almost $100 dollars we spent on Boonies. I ordered a full rack of ribs, the sauce wasn't great and the meat tasted like it was frozen the thawed out to make this meal. Terrible. Wife order Lamb Chops, she ate about two and was over it.. weren't tasty at all. We both ordered salads, the Cesar dressing looked as terrible as it tasted. We pay and leave a tip. We drive less than 5 minutes home and the food is smelling up the car in a beautiful way. The food looks great (wings and celery, sliders, and a side of broccoli). But when everyone grabs a wing - we are trying to remember what flavor did we order (Honey Garlic and Garlic Parm). Everything tastes clean and they weren't light on the salt but the food tasted like nothing just salted meat. The closer you got to the bone the more garlic you would taste but somehow the wings mostly tasted like nothing. Same with the sliders. Buns were great. Burger cooked to perfection but they tasted like nothing. The food takes great pictures but lacks on flavor. Idk what else to say... if you want the taste of unflavored meat - this is the spot. But the venue was nice, the music was nice, multiple screens playing the game, and waitress was super kind. Been before for karaoke and the bartenders were friendly and make a nice drink. Today was my second time here. Both times I went to watch football. Overall, I think the food, service, and prices are really good. Now, one detractor from watching sports here. It's billed as a "Wild West Saloon," so you won't hear any sports telecasts. They play both kinds of music, country and western. If listening to games is a dealbreaker, don't come here. Other than that, it's what you would want from a dark bar with beer in tap, about a dozen TV's, two (free) pool tables, two dart boards, and available outdoor seating. First time I went, I ordered the chicken wings. They were large, juicy, and the sauce was good. Probably some of the better wings around here. Today, I was blown away by the French Dip sandwich. Every part was delicious. The roll, the beef, the cheese, the Au jus, the horseradish sauce were all on point. I ordered sweet potato fries and they were perfectly cooked and tasty. My sense is that whoever is running the kitchen really cares about serving good food. I want to come back and try their entrees. read more

Went to this place on a whim. It was ok, definitely seemed like a happening spot. Parking was difficult at 9:45pm at night but there were tables available inside and outside. The service was very slow and there was only one waitress serving our section. The drinks were ok and the food was ok. The entertainment was good, there was a live singer and people on the small dance floor. I tasted the gator bites which were very salty. The spinach and artichoke dip was warm and had zero artichoke. Had a Fantastic time, we went to hear the band Whisky Six play, music was awesome, waitress took good care of us, this place is great for a friends night out, or singles. You can sit at the nice size bar, or a table, place has 2 pool tables also, and dance area for when bass play. Crowd was a mixture of people wearing Jeans, shirt, and a few people dressed nicely. They have definitely upgraded this business to make it a "Hot Spot" in Loxahatchee. Food was adequate, we had the Nachos and Teriyaki wings... nothing to write home about but decent. I never thought I'd say it, but Boonies is great. The new ownership has really stepped it up - They invested a lot of money in the buildout and revamping the kitchen. I've been here a few times now (to the new boonies) and I've been happy every time. Chicken wings were great. I even ordered a ribeye (with low expectations) and I was surprised... it was great.
