I also found her Instagram while searching Salon 300 West on the app. I was impressed by the pictures she had of past hair she has done and, so, I gave the salon a call. First, I am really pleased that she took my friend and I for hair cuts the evening right before Christmas Eve on such short notice. I called about 4 hours before the appointment time. Then, we get there and we learn she is one of two stylists that are still there. That shows dedication to her profession. True commitment to getting her name out there and building a strong client base. I really love my hair cut. We took off about four inches or so and she also cleaned up my growing-out undershave. She was a wonderful listener about what I wanted and what I disliked (like not using razor shears on my hair, which is a request that so many stylists have completely ignored and used them anyway). She was also very helpful in fine-tuning the details to make this cut something that worked well with my natural wavy texture. That really took my experience to the next level. My friend's cut was equally wonderful. As for the salon itself, it is well decorated with cute (and cheesy) quotes on the walls. But I love the style of the place. I can't speak for how loud/busy/organized it may be during peak times, but I know that when it was just us and Claudia, it seemed like a neat place with a lovely atmosphere. Oh, and when we were leaving, a walk-in had come in and asked if she could get a trim. Claudia even took her! I think she's a really hard-working lady and you'd be amiss not to give her a shot!

After looking at her work, I decided to make an appt so I called back and booked with Sunny. Remember when I said I live an hour away? Well, about 30 min into my drive I got a TEXT from Sunny canceling... 1 I don't look at my texts while driving and 2 I was already en route so I didnt know it was canceled til I arrived in Greenville. Granted, she said she didn't feel well apparently from something she ate the night before.. the optimist in me really wants to think she was telling the truth so I'm trying not to feel upset, but it was just extremely annoying that I had even asked for a different stylist/colorist yet she emphasized availability and sent me her intragram portfolio as a gesture of really wanting my business and then threw it out the door... I guess in the end, this is a review for Sunny. If you book with her, just beware, she may cancel on you.

Overall, while Boss Nail Bar is great at nail designs/aesthetics, I don't think overall nail health is a priority of theirs so I would not return.

You cannot just go inside. You have to call and be let inside the building. There are several other office areas in the building. Per their hours, they opened at 11am. I ended up leaving a voicemail my last call. I really wanted to go here as I was visiting from out of town and they had consistent positive reviews for eyebrow threading. Around noon, they called me back. By that time, I had already started to head out of town to go home. The only reason why I ended up going here was because I had left my laptop in my hotel room and the hotel found it and called me. This location was close to my hotel. I arrived around 12:20pm. I called to be let it, and she answered and let me in. She did a really good job with my eyebrows. They look great and I have no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend and I would come back, if I'm in town and need my eyebrows done. My only issue or concern was with not being there/answering the phone during business hours and not being able to get into the building without being let in.
