This is a practice that charges you co pays after you are told there would be no extra charge.That is what happened to me.The provider told me that the biopsy of a mole was standard and then a $150 co pay bill arrived read more

My doctor made a referral for me to have a couple of skin tags removed. I got to the appointment 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork and then proceeded to wait for an additional 40 minutes before being taken to a waiting room. 10 minutes later, someone came in to see me. I showed them what needed to be done and they said they would schedule an appointment. I asked why they're not doing it today and I was told this was a 10 minute appointment, not to remove the skin tags. I wasn't told this up front when they called to confirm my referral from my doctor and when they charged me $110 for said 10-minute appointment! I took the afternoon off from work to make that appointment and now I would have to take another off as well? Needless to say, I canceled the secondary appointment that was made. Communication is horrible and the prices they charge (without letting you know up front) is absolutely absurd. read more

Save your money and go somewhere where they don't pressure you into taking a certain medicine so they can get commission for it. Not to mention they were pretty clueless. read more

I had to have a mole removed so I went in, they created an incision that I can best describe as an eye shape. Stating because of how deep they needed to go it was necessary. I was fine with it. Received some purple glue and butterfly's and I was on my way. Was advised of the after care, changing the butterlfies, how long to keep them on and showering. When I first showed someone my stomach they said I was "butchered". Didn't realize it was bad and figured it would heal up well, but here we are months later (got it done in September) and I literally have a hole in my scar. I had called them a couple weeks after and spoke with a nurse and was advised this is normal and should go away/ heal up. Not really sure how to treat a scar that has a hole in it. Wouldn't recommend going here. read more

Poor customer service, apathetic and disinterested reception staff. Runs late for appointments without the courtesy to notify, no respect for customers time. read more

I had a minor surgical procedure done back in March. I was very pleased on how well they treated me, how much they cared about me as their patient and how genuine they were. At first I was a little skeptical because the place is almost too good to be true: it's clean, laid back and everyone is exceedingly nice. As mentioned however, the staff didnt fail to please, both in mannerisms and professionalism. read more

I would not rate this place even one star. My M.D. was to make the appt for biopsy after I was in Quick Care and then to ER. The dr. was very flippant as she went out the door "Ha, ha - we don't do biopsies on hives! See an allegerist. She never examined me or looked at 5 pg of Blood work or photos of my condition for 3 mos. Then a month later her office called to say the allergist would not see old people! I had already found a specialist and got the biopsy. This could be a very serious condition. This cost me $50 to be insulted. The above review was for my wife. I went with her originally and the Dr. wanted to body check me also. She removed a spot on my shoulder then told me I had sun damage on my face - actinic kerotosis - and gave me a prescription for Carac cream. When I went to pick up the Rx I was told it was $658 for a tube the size of my pinkie. I said no, called the Dr. who replaced that Rx with on for $38. Quite a difference! Using this product my face became scabby and a mess. When I called the Dr. office to let them know, the reply chuckle was "It will get worse". The staff at Southern Tier Dermatology is hardly user friendly. I will not go back. read more
