I won't go into this part too deeply, but we had some rather infuriating experiences with a different Commerical Tire store and the Reagional Manager, whose office is in this La Grande Sstore came to our rescue. Since our car has AWD and all of the tires need to have the same tire depth, all 4 tires had to be replaced. He made it right again, got us back into new tires, honored the warranty and even rechecked the alignment completed an oil change free of charge for our troubles. I can't say enough for his professionalism and integrity he really pulled us out of a tight spot and that says volumes about this La Grande store and how it is managed. I will always come back right here in La Grande because he put the trust back in our customer relationship!

I'm not sure if the gods of rental trucks and trailers have different days designated as the weekend and if they do I sure wish they'd share this with the rest of western civilization. Uhaul has this deal that if the trailer you rented isn't ready as promised then they'll give you 50 dollars. Well, I contacted Steve Womack and he credited my credit card 50 dollars. Not really the same as 50 bucks in my wallet but at least he got halfway there. My rather long drawn out point is, don't call uhaul on a Saturday morning to pickup the same day to move your father-in-law who just fell and expect this place to be open. You'll only end up cursing out some poor guy trying to make a living at the uhaul call center (probably in Omaha) demanding a refund. Glad his favorite chair fit in my rig.

They told me they were booked for the next 1-2 weeks but would at least be able to scan the code to give us an idea of what the issue was. We first said "no thank" as we sat in the car outside their shop for about 20 minutes calling several other places even some outside the town who were also booked. Mind you we were traveling from Washington to California overnight. We didn't want to wait even a day or two. Eventually, we had them scan the code and they saw the issue (spark plug #6 was burned off completely, too close to metal) and were able to replace it. They went from "sorry we're booked" to being able to help us out after all.

I asked the owners wife explicitly to insure my light colored interior was not sullied. Many times I have picked up a vehicle after they worked on it with debri left inside, dirty mats, etc. Not only was the car's passenger seat streaked with black grease an idiot light in the dash was on and there were spots of oil down the passenger side of the car. I went in the next day. The owner was at lunch. I asked his partner to have him call me to remedy or detail the seat they made filthy and get the idiot light turned off. He told me the idiot light had nothing to do with them and was probably due to wiring under the horn area on the steering wheel. Over a week has passed. Nada from them. I'm done.
