Exactly 90 min later I pay and go to leave but my air conditioner was making a humming sound. I go back in and the same guy comes out to listen. Says oh its probably debris in the interior cabin filter or fan blower, we looked at it and it did have debris in the filter. Just drive it around it will go away. WTF? I said oh no, get someone out here now. The filter is just 18 months old, if there were leaves shouldnt they have shaken it out? And it wasnt making noise when I brought it in. They drove it back into the bay, cleaned it out and returned it to me. The manager, a female, spoke to me apologizing. I hope she adresses these issues. Apparently they are under new ownership in the past 3 months. Then I get home and get a text with their recommendations. 1 was that the under carriage splash guard was missing screws. Recommended replacing. Again WTF? Could you have told me and we could have addressed it? Biggest concern is that the splash guard was newly replaced early 2025. The only service I have had was an oil change here in late 2025. Why wasnt it mentioned then? Did they not rescrew them all back after the service? My last oil change there was $79, today was $96. Frustated that I have to look for a new service garage now

While waiting, I observed an employee preparing food, making smoothies, handling cash transactions, and then returning to food preparation while wearing the same pair of gloves throughout the process. Because I had noticed this behavior on previous visits, I decided to ask about it. I asked whether the gloves were intended to protect customers from germs or protect the employee. The employee responded, "We have a lot of gloves. I just didn't have a chance to change them." That response was concerning. Cash is handled by countless people and can carry dirt, bacteria, and other contaminants. Seeing the same gloves used for food preparation and cash handling defeats the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place. What concerns me most is that this did not appear to be a one-time oversight. I have observed similar practices on multiple visits, which suggests it may be a routine habit rather than an isolated incident. Costco may have food safety policies in place, but policies are only effective when they are consistently followed. Based on what I have repeatedly observed, I am no longer comfortable purchasing food from this location's outdoor food court. I hope management reviews food handling procedures and ensures that proper glove-changing and sanitation practices are consistently followed to protect customers.
