We call and made an appointment to bring our car the next day. The folks at Wilhelm did a quick examination and brought us the bad or badder news. We had two quotes; one at $1900 and one at $1600. The difference being off brand components. Our service tech did give us a moment and we chose the lesser cost option. They told us that our car could be ready by 4pm that afternoon and they offered to take us home and pick us up when the car was ready. We really appreciated their offer (we live about 18 miles outside of Surprise). Their driver was friendly coming and going. The service was prompt; however as we drove off our engine and transmission were lurching. We made one stop and decided to immediately bring back our car back to the shop. The quickly took it back and we waited. They said they needed to drive it for about 10 miles to reset the computer engine system because it was self adjusting. We waited another 20 minutes and our car was ready again. We got in drove off and all seems good. In summary, Wilhelm Automotive was courteous, efficient, and responsive. Staff was all very friendly and we will bring back our car if we have other service needs. We did get a "free" sunscreen. My wife and I laugh and call it our $1600 sun shade.

After the diagnosis and explanation and after my daughter declined....They call her back and say they found some kind of fuel leak related to her fuel pump. Why wasn't this mentioned before? It's wild because her car smelled like gasoline after that, but it had never smelled like that before we brought it in! Idk what kind of shady shit they're pulling but that's what happened. MY plug change is working great...still can't figure out this fuel leak they're talking about, but still catching whiffs of gas here and there. Idk what they did but I'm convinced they did something. I ordered my tires online and had them shipped to store to be installed, when I came in for my appointment they had my car in the bay and all 4 tires on within 30 minutes. Patrick didn't give me the run around like a lot of mechanics these days trying to add on unnecessary work, he only informed me of the important things and didn't pressure me into making any purchases I wasn't sure about. This will definitely be my families new spot for tires & other maintenance! :)

I get the tow was $100. Understandable. But $111 to tell him they didn't know what was wrong and to pump a little charge into the battery and send him on his way? Trash. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The battery was long dead. How hard was that to figure out? Ripoff.
