One of the mechanics hit my truck with the wrecker in the tiny back parking lot during its stay and tried hiding it. see the damage until I got home.To this day has not taken responsibility nor made it right. I wouldn't be surprised if the owner(bud buell) hasn't heard of this accident happening . The only thing I am to blame for is not making a stink about it as soon as it happened And rather than leaving mad, staying right there and calling the owner of the to come figure this out. the mechanic who I suspected doing it, and also the guy who picked up the truck, said "that was like that when we picked it up". I was furious and unable to get anything out of my mouth other than "fuck you" , while looking him in the eyes, knowing damn well that we both know that is not the truth, and walked away. I was personally at the location it was picked up, then checked on the truck later in the afternoon to see where it was parked in the lot. later on that week, truck had gone into the shop had one part fixed, but needed another part to complete the repair so it was put back out into the lot while the part was a couple days out for delivery. The following day I returned to the lot of Southern Vermont Auto to get my clipboard for work out of my truck. Again seeing my truck for the third time undamaged. I didn't notice the damage until I saw the faces of my family members as I pulled in the driveway and walked around the passenger side. When I went to pick the truck up, I had already been informed on the amount owed so I went and paid $500 in cash for transmission cable repairs, got in my truck, entering it from the driver side and drove straight home 2 miles . I took pictures immediately after noticing all the damage which are within minutes of me getting a printed receipt and leaving the shop.. My truck was not simply dinged or ! It was consistently crushed in several inches in depth 12 inches wide and up to 24 inches wide from the front passenger wheel. Well all the way through my back tail light. Front to back. Absolutely scraped and crushed in both broke my handle, crushed my fender and crushed the back bed front to back $10,000 plus worth of damage minimum. I was so behind on my workload and so mind blown at the situation I let weeks and weeks pass not knowing how to handle the situation and also knowing I got screwed over and would never be compensated. My entire investment for the last five years completely destroyed practically in front of my eyes and they say that's how it was? Absolutely unfathomably ridiculous. This place is awful. Do not bring your car here. They have had our car for nearly 2 months doing a transmission job. The job cost 3000 dollars. First transmission they put in was defective so they said bring it in to look at it they find a problem and tell me they will get another one overnighter and it will only take a day. Well that was 2 weeks ago and now this job was under an Unlimited warranty and so now after all the calling i have done to check on it because they don't call you. They get extremely annoyed if you inquire about your car. So now with this car being ready they present a 275 dollar bill for labor. This car had been out of the shop for 2 weeks and they never mentioned that their would be additional costs. Now the warranty company tells me the job was approved for 5 and a hard hours and the shop is trying to charge me for 9 and a half. The warranty company and the shop are saying it's the other sides fault but the warranty company sent me a more itemized bill and the shop said their 3 year unlimited warranty on parts and labor doesn't "work like that" . This place only wants your money. Do not use this shop. I hate leaving reviews like this but they are also the kind of shop that doesn't take responsibility for anything blames others and only gives you excuses. Go somewhere else, this place is a joke, just about making money and do not care about the customers at all, i purchased a motor after months of them supposedly searching for a motor for me, i found one down the road within a few days from a jeep that was wrecked. The motor had been damaged in an accident which I didn't know, they contacted me to let me know and I said to remove the motor and didn't want it anymore when this was realized, the owner then told me they could fix the issue, instead of trying to repair the motor the correct way, (weld, parts, etc) they attempted to squirt a sealant in the broken part of the motor, this took months, I then was finally able to pickup my vehicle, which the motor was loudly knocking and leaking oil everywhere, I then contacted the salvage yard where the motor came from and they quickly agreed to replace the bad motor, however southern Vermont auto, refused to replaced it for me and even went as far to tell me they wouldn't even work on it though they installed it, I was misled and lied to numerous times, also when i went to pickup my vehicle a woman called for assistance and was broken down just up the road from the shop, I overheard the owner complaining that they sent the mechanic to assist her, who sounded like a common customer there, I overheard him saying to have him get the car and the tow fee and get it into the shop for a diagnosis and repair, I was shocked, but juat goes to prove that this place is only about making money and doesn't care about there customers at all, if they did they wouldn't be trying to rip off honest hard working people to make a dollar read more
