Every vehicle I looked at was accurately represented, and the owner was very accommodating about my test drive, and allowing me to take the car for a secondary inspection with another mechanic. He absolutely stands by the cars he sells. Sales process was streamlined and smooth, no hours wasted with "let me talk to my manager". The Stephens service department has had multiple issues over the years with our Dodge 3500. We had an issue with our truck that they helped us fix and it may not have been all their fault, but they covered the repair. That kind of integrity is wonderful. I know they can't do that all the time, but it goes to show a strength that is necessary in business. One area that could use improvement is communication. We had a plow on the truck when it arrived, but when it was going to be picked up, they didn't put the plow back on after servicing it and our guy almost left without it. When he asked about it, the service department representative was a bit on the rude side. (Although, my guy may have contributed to that interaction if he was frustrated, but it could have been handled better any way you look at it.)

Received the vehicle in October, and within 24 hours the…read moreTPMS light came on, the windshield wipers went crazy, the windows would roll themselves down, and the collision alert sensors would go off for absolutely no reason. I brought it back and told them what was going on. They had it from January 5 until March, fixing the tires, recalls, etc. When I got it back, a whole new light popped up on the screen. "Emissions system failure", so I bring it back in. Again. They changed my oil and didn't even look at why the light was on. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I went to open my rear passenger side door and the fucking handle FELL OFF. So what do I do? I bring it back. AGAIN! In order to fix the handle and sunroof vibration/hum - it will cost nearly $2k. They wound up fixing the emissions system problem, but it still cost me well over $600 out of pocket. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and AG's consumer protections agency. I can't afford to NOT have a vehicle (I need it for work), but I also can't afford all the repairs on a car I purchased EIGHT MONTHS AGO.

The only thing I am to blame for is not making a stink about it as soon as it happened And rather than leaving mad, staying right there and calling the owner of the to come figure this out. the mechanic who I suspected doing it, and also the guy who picked up the truck, said "that was like that when we picked it up". I was furious and unable to get anything out of my mouth other than "fuck you" , while looking him in the eyes, knowing damn well that we both know that is not the truth, and walked away. I was personally at the location it was picked up, then checked on the truck later in the afternoon to see where it was parked in the lot. later on that week, truck had gone into the shop had one part fixed, but needed another part to complete the repair so it was put back out into the lot while the part was a couple days out for delivery. The following day I returned to the lot of Southern Vermont Auto to get my clipboard for work out of my truck. Again seeing my truck for the third time undamaged. I didn't notice the damage until I saw the faces of my family members as I pulled in the driveway and walked around the passenger side. When I went to pick the truck up, I had already been informed on the amount owed so I went and paid $500 in cash for transmission cable repairs, got in my truck, entering it from the driver side and drove straight home 2 miles . I took pictures immediately after noticing all the damage which are within minutes of me getting a printed receipt and leaving the shop.. My truck was not simply dinged or ! It was consistently crushed in several inches in depth 12 inches wide and up to 24 inches wide from the front passenger wheel. Well all the way through my back tail light. Front to back. Absolutely scraped and crushed in both broke my handle, crushed my fender and crushed the back bed front to back $10,000 plus worth of damage minimum. I was so behind on my workload and so mind blown at the situation I let weeks and weeks pass not knowing how to handle the situation and also knowing I got screwed over and would never be compensated. My entire investment for the last five years completely destroyed practically in front of my eyes and they say that's how it was? Absolutely unfathomably ridiculous.
