Why there I wanted over 2 hours to see the doctor. I love the other locations but strongly do not recommend the location over that Marshall location. Unless you're being seen by the lactation department. When the doctor finally came in he quickly looked her over and was done within 5 minutes. Arrived a little before 9, didn't leave until 11:03

They wouldn't even call his former doctor because he's not on duty. They also wouldn't call the current dr on duty to make a judgment call! The doctors are amazing but staff not so much!! They would rather us take our high risk 3 year old to the ER ( in the middle of a pandemic) then make a call to help us in our time of need!! The staff has no heart or the testicular fortitude to make a call. YOU Allison are a heartless woman with no spine or compassion who shouldn't be in the medical field much less working in a pediatricians office!!! You have FAILED as a decent human!

My 1.5 year old son had a minor outpatient procedure here. We had to arrive at 7:30 a.m. We…read morereceived reminder phone calls the week before, the day before, and the morning of! Once we registered, things moved fairly quickly and we were taken up stairs to the surgery area and a private waiting room. A child life representative met us and explained what was about to happen. She also gave my son a "car" to drive around in. A nurse came in to check his vitals and double check info. Two different reps came in to ask what our experience was so far. One of them went to see why the surgery didn't start on time; our surgeon was still working on a different patient. She gave an approximate time that we would be allowed back. The anesthesiologist and surgeon both spoke to us before taking our son back. We then had to move to the main waiting room with other families. We were sent text message updates once the procedure started and ended. The surgeon came out to talk to us after the procedure was done. They had a couple of private rooms separate from the main waiting room for privacy. I was allowed back with my son in the recovery room. The facilities were bright, clean, and playful. The rooms in the back were animal themed. We had the elephant room. Everyone we encountered was super nice and helpful. We were overly informed and reassured every step of the way.

We waited in the waiting room for the surgery to be completed. As we waited, I noticed as other families procedures were done, the doctors came out and spoke to the other families about how their procedures went. Well this wasn't the case for us. My grandson's surgery was done by Dr. Janaki Emani. Dr. Emani never came out to speak to us, which I thought this was strange. We thought maybe she will speak to us when my grandson get to his room because he had to stay overnight. When we got to the room, we asked the nurse if Dr. Emani was coming by to speak to us. She replied, "didn't she spoke to the family after the surgery?" At this time the nurse looked puzzled, but didn't say anything. She stated that she would call Dr. Emani and let her know we wanted to speak to her. Hours went by and Dr. Emani never came by to speak to us. About six and a half hours later she calls my grandsons room and spoke to my daughter on the phone. My daughter asked her, if she could come to the room because she had lots of questions. At this time we didn't know what to think. Dr. Emani informed my daughter that she had already left the hospital. My heart dropped in disbelief. I have NEVER seen this type of behavior from ANY doctor after having surgery? This was the most terrible bedside manner I have ever seen from any doctor!!!! I read in several reviews that Dr. Emani did the same thing to numerous families and they stated that she had terrible bedside manner. Maybe next time I will take the reviews more seriously. But, sometimes we take a chance. I blame the hospital for this because it was brought to their attention that this doctor has done this to other families. It's obvious that NOTHING was done and the situation wasn't addressed. We are talking about innocent children. This makes me question the hospital and the safety of our children. This doctors behavior was very neglectful, insensitive, and rude. I hope this situation is addressed and it never happens again to any family!!!!

So I started out by being invited by one of my co-workers, who is a client at their Lexington…read moreoffice, to their free class on toxins. The class was really informative. However, my only critic is that the information may be presented too fast for the lay-person or persons just hearing about it for the first time. I was already familiar with much of the information before hand so it was not difficult for me. Through this class I found out about their "dinner with the doc" events where you can attend a free dinner at Miyo's to hear about what chiropractic is and the philosophy of the Maximize Living brand. I must say that I never looked at chiropractic care in the way they presented it. As a B.S. Biology degree holder, the way they described chiropractic care seemed to make since. I was shocked, because I had never looked at or thought about chiropractic like that. The main thing I like is that a lot of there principles and the information they put out in their free community info classes are things and topics I am already interested in learning about. For instance their 5 principles are to maximize your #1 mind, through positive thoughts, #2 oxygenation, through exercise, #3 nutrition, through eating whole foods and limiting sugar, #4 toxins, through limiting you exposure to toxins & detoxing, & #5 maximize nerve supply, through chiropractic adjustment. I have received about 21 adjustments to date, and I am seeing some improvements. I notice that I am able to stand up taller, it is easier to hold my stomach muscles in, people have commented that I look like I have lost weight(I haven't I'm just standing taller which makes me look slimmer), & I am having more bile movements (hope this is not TMI) I will say that it is pricy. I think some insurance companies might cover it, but my type of health care doesn't. However, I have been dealing with chronic pain for a long time, and I was willing to invest in the possibility of living pain free. I would suggest that interested persons attend their free community classes to get a taste of what they are like, and attend the free dinner. Both of these events will give you a good introduction and first impression.
