I stayed from Jan1st to April 1st. I will definitely stay here again next year. The staff is friendly and helpful. The staff really makes this place. I cannot say enough about Karime and Aieta. The WiFi is strong and fast. There are some amenities like exercise equipment and business office (with printers and shredders). Coffee and popcorn every day. There are laundry machines and they are commercial type machines in two sizes. Karime makes sure that people are informed about what's happening at the park, especially with the different food trucks that come in to sell. Many people use this park as home base while they are receiving treatment from one of the many hospitals in the Houston area. The park is very convenient to nearby restaurants and shopping. I previously stayed at a different nearby park, but after staying at Southlake, Southlake is my new go to park. read more

What a wonderful surprise to have such a clean and spacious RV Resort in the heart of Houston Texas. Mr Reggie was warm and welcoming upon check in. I have had wonderful experiences with this resort. They have internet, cable, a lake, indoor exercise equipment, and a laundry facility - among others amenities. The property manager and staff are very responsive to needs. This property is mosquito treated and has lawn maintenance as well. read more

Love this park! Love Jennifer in the office, she always takes fantastic care of me and the park. I like that all the tenants are respectful and quiet. Dogs are kept on leashes and people pick up behind them. No complaints! Easy to use laundry facility when needed and my wifi actually works in this park! read more

I am currently the manager at Southlake RV Resort. I feel like I have the best job in the world because of the wonderful people we have come through here and because of the beautiful views I have from my office windows. Karime (Our hardworking housekeeper) and I take a lot of pride in keeping this place clean and comfortable for all our guests. Although we are pretty small, only 115 pad sites, we have so much to offer! We were beyond overjoyed to rent a very comfortable 1-Bedroom Park Model unit (see details below) and have the lovely Southlake RV Park to live in for 3 1/2 months while we were in Houston for medical treatment at MD Anderson! It is 10-15 minutes from shopping of every type and all retail services; 25 minutes from the Medical Center. We had excellent cooking facilities, sleeping room, living space and general home comforts, along with housekeeping, mail support and security. The other residents in the park are mostly long-term workers, a few medical like us, and a few short-term transient campers. Jennifer Allen took excellent care of us as the park manager, we really lucked out! My 5 Star rating is based on what's here, and our excellent experience. The 5 Stars does not mean there are what some are seeking as 5 Star type amenities - no hot tub or swimming pool, no playground area, although there is a very nice sheltered barbecue area with refrigerator, gas grills and seating. The management is tops under Ms. Allen, everything was kept in working order, always clean, grounds maintained very nicely. Amenities include: an exercise room with 4 machines - weights, rower, elliptical and treadmill; a lounge area with table and chairs, couch and chairs, huge TV, daily newspaper, coffee (regular and decaf), ice water, fresh popcorn; also snacks and drinks vending machines; a computer room with printer; commercial-type laundry with lots of machines - they takes cards... you put money on the card from cash; laundry supplies available in vending machines; the small lake has ducks, turtles and fish - there is a wooden, railed fishing platform; entry/exit security gates with your personal code - long term folks can get a remote; office with great mail reception - they not only took in our packages but Jennifer would email us that we had a package waiting. We rented an on-site, semi-permanent, 1-bedroom Park Model unit; there are only 4 Park Model units. The unit is bright and well laid out; very nicely (newly) furnished with pillow-topped queen bed, plus good-quality sleeper couch (all pillows, linens, blankets, towels supplied), recliner and small dinette table with 2 chairs; also good quality full size electric stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer; all decent quality cooking/eating utensils for 4 people; full bath with tub/shower and home-style toilet; there's a small dishwasher. The unit has plenty of storage space: lots of kitchen cabinets/drawers, a deep-shelf pantry, plus a narrow-shelf closet in the hall; 3 bathroom cabinets; bedroom has mirrored double-sliding-door closet (no hangers); bedroom also has a half-height base cabinet with shelves, upper and lower bedside cabinets. Bath has a toilet brush, and there is a broom and dustpan too. The all electric AC/Heating system kept temps at what we set them for from early January into mid-April, so we had from freezing to 90s, and we stayed very comfortable - can't comment on mid-summer heat, but when it was warm we kept the blinds closed to keep the heat-load down; the outdoor unit is ducted into 4 floor vents inside; runs either in AC mode or heating mode. The hot water heater is not large enough to support two consecutive showers so we spaced our showers out, not a big deal. There are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, and very good lighting throughout the unit. We parked our car next to the unit, used the front door for most in and out; used the rear door between the kitchen and bedroom for bringing in groceries. Front door has a storm door/screen. There are 5 or 6 steps to get into the unit, no ramp. There is a picnic table behind where we parked. The site is as wide as the parking pad + the unit - there's a strip of grass between the concrete parking pad and the neighbor's unit. Rent included a weekly visit by a resident housekeeper who took our bed linens and towels (bath and kitchen) to the laundry, brought them back washed, re-made the main bed, replaced the towels, dusted, mopped and cleaned the bathroom - I miss her! The electric is on a meter at the unit, read monthly by the manager; the charge is added to the monthly rent, all very accountable and easy. The park is near Highway 288 so there can be some road noise heard with the windows open, not as much with the windows closed. The park has small trees - not much shade; lots of outside lighting; all paved road. There's attractive foliage around the park borders/fences, and larger trees around the lake. There are places to walk dogs (but no pets allowed in the Park Model units); dumpsters for trash, no recycling bins. Landscapers come regularly to maintain the greenery; beautiful flower beds are at the entrance and around the office. We were so fortunate to be able to get this great unit for our stay in Houston, so much better than staying in a hotel or a high-rise apartment, and very good value! read more

Very nice resort. Everyone in the office is super nice. The manager Jennifer went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We moved our RV from Advanced RV due to a new manager who was very rude and condescending to just about everyone he comes in contact with. Staying here at Southlake has been such a breath of fresh air. There is also a beautifully landscaped Lake here and is stocked for catch and release. Looking forward to taking my grandson fishing. I have not had the opportunity to use any of the amenities yet, but they all look in excellent condition and everything is very clean. There are also a few ducks and turtles that live in the lake. The only regret that we have is that we didn't get here sooner! read more

Jennifer and the cleaning staff girls are wonderful. This place is hidden back on a dead end road quiet peaceful clean great value for the money. Bathrooms are very clean and they always have fresh coffee and fresh popcorn ready to go can't wait to try fishing in the beautiful lake this place is 10 out of 10.
