We were here for Firebirds but there are a dozen and a half others from quick order to sit down. Do you prefer shopping? How about Field & Stream and TJ Maxx? Hotels, movie theater and fitness center too. It's a busy place and getting set in the right direction was a challenge. I can not imagine what a mess this place must be during the Christmas season. Its series of shops and restaurants.. looked newer and lovely. This is the style mall now a days ... and on days like today it great. Weather is PERFECT.. not raining..not too hot or humid..its gorgeous. But in Ohio..how often is that the case. And on these rare perfect weather days ... how many will waste it shopping. I'm from Ohio .. I'm just being honest. I think indoor malls are more practical but every new mall is this open air style. The landscaping is GORGEOUS. Fountains and lovely flowers..especially hydrangeas. I'd kill to get mine look like that.

There are two rather big problems with this mall. It's designed for a warm weather climate such as Florida but Ohio isn't like that at least half of the year, and it has lousy access in or out. Having spent a lot of time at Waterford Lakes (their owner Simon, are responsible for Cincinnati Premium Outlets) in the southeastern part of the Orlando, FL area, I can say that this kind of mall would still be a pain with the odd little streets in-between the buildings. It tries to create a sophisticated, upscale atmosphere, but likely creates some heart-stopping moments as someone darts out in front of your car. Getting back out onto Princeton Road is no easy feat, either. Coming from either the east or west sides of the mall still make it difficult and the distance from the S.R. 4 bypass to the exit of the mall is not enough to handle the long line of cars. If you're willing to take a chance, the stores are worth it and they're much closer than the Tri-County Mall area.

My hubby and I liked it a little more than Heart of Ohio because they actually had quite a lot of pop culture items instead of only antiques. And their prices are very reasonable!! We were able to find a lovely canvas movie poster for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and we almost bought a full sized framed movie poster for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Great place for Gen Xers who love all things 70's and 80's! They also had vintage clothes and antique furniture and items like Heart of Ohio does. Sadly, they do have the dreaded glass cases where you have to hunt down an employee just to look at something, but not as many as Heart of Ohio has. And they have a decent system set up for alerting the employees that you need help. We will be back to this one very soon!

We were out riding motorcycles, and stumbled upon this place. From the outside, it was hard to…read moretell whether it was currently open or if it was just an old overgrown place. But it did have a sign on the door so we went in. Definitely sensory overload. There was a lot of stuff in there that I remember seeing in my childhood. It is a very big mix of junk, collectibles and upright trash in the back barn. Even a boat in the woods near the outhouse. I think it is worth a stop if you are out that way. Mostly just for shock value. If you do stop, be careful when leaving. It is right off of a blind hill and curves. I took a lot of photos. But honestly, nothing has changed from the photos that others have taken and posted over the years. Probably items are sitting in the exact same places.
