I had booked an appointment months in advance. Because the hours changed, my previously booked appointment was no longer available. Shame on me for not rebooking earlier. I never received an email but I (maybe?) vaguely remember a text at some point. I called 9/27 to verify my appointment for 9/28 and I was told it was cancelled due to the change in hours. Totally fine. I asked to reschedule. The person over the phone said "There's still an available slot for 2p." To which I replied, "That's perfect." And thus concluded our conversation. Fast forward to today, 9/28, and I arrive 10 minutes before my appointment only to be told that it was scheduled for tomorrow 9/29. I drive almost an hour to get to my appointment because I like the clinical staff, (and I don't feel like I'm being judged for my teeth). I also work 12 hour night shifts and have to actively work my schedule around appointments to ensure I'm getting ample sleep and can drive safely. But text alerts or even emails confirming times and dates would be greatly appreciated. Whatever miscommunication was had during our conversation today could have easily been mitigated by a confirmatory email/text.

From start to finish...Dr. Gaddis and her team make going to the dentist a stress free experience,…read moreand that says a lot coming from me...when I walk in I am greeted by my name (it's like they know who I am or something) taken back by my hygienist (Mingee) who is professional, focused and thorough and Dr Mary follows up with a comprehensive check of my teeth/mouth/gums...I couldn't ask for a better experience! Even with the current Pandemic situation they are like a well oiled machine...I love being able to sit in my car till I'm called up (on time) and everyone is masked and practicing safe standards that made me feel comfortable during this very uncertain time... Kudos to the whole team...you all ROCK!!

We are a family with fairly healthy teeth, practice regular hygiene and dental cleanings, and had no significant issues 10 months (long stretch due to Covid) prior at our prior long-term dentist--upon seeing Dr. Gaddis, multiple cavities, root canals, and others services were promoted, many of questionable need. Pros: Good location, nice office, new equipment/technology, thorough hygienists, nice staff (for the most part), good bedside manner (for the most part) Cons: 1. Wife was referred for THREE root canals, ALL of which our endodontist told us he has no idea what Dr. Gaddis was referring to. Gaddis also referred us (like all her clients) to an endodontist that has many poor reviews, which was an early red flag, and why we ended up selecting our own (that is highly reviewed). It also raises the specter of potential quid pro quo between the two practices. 2. Gaddis told me my daughter needed sealant because of her baby teeth cavities being an indicator for her proclivity to cavities. When I said my prior dentist told us baby teeth are not a good indicator for cavities in permanent teeth (because they're weaker, less enamel, etc), she said "I don't recall hearing that in school". After a quick Internet search, I confirmed it is well known amongst professionals in the field that baby teeth cavities are NOT a good indicator for the health of adult teeth, leading me to conclude Gaddis either doesn't know some fundamental facts in dentistry or is intentionally discarding what she knows to promote more services (consistent with Con #1)...either of which is not good. 3. Front office staff can be a bit edgy/dry/cold...not outright mean, but not generally warm, like our prior practice. It's not a deal-breaker on its own, but coupled with the other issues not helpful. We were really hoping that we'd found a new dental home and allowed benefit of the doubt several times, but ultimately too many red flags have pushed us back to our prior practice until we can find a better local option.

The staff here is friendly and professional. The hygienists are excellent - Ali, Tabitha, and Christalyn come to mind as standouts. I really love Dr. Austin who takes time to explain procedures and dental health, and who is also really gentle and fantastic with kids. In additional to routine cleaning, I have required additional dental procedures done (e.g. crown filling) and I was very happy with the results. Front desk staff Jill and Jodi are also lovely -- they have alerted me when I have credits on my account, and it is always a smooth process whenever we arrive for appointments or have to deal with billing. I also love that I feel no pressure to follow up on referrals, procedures, and additional services suggested. Overall, this office is professional and personable when dealing with patients' dental health.

Their billing department uses high pressure tactics to collect outstanding balances that resulted because they did not properly file insurance claims. For example, when my wife called for an appointment due to a toothache, Riccobene initially said they would not schedule the appointment unless my wife paid an outstanding balance. She reminded them about our insurance and a week later we got confirmation from the insurance company that they paid Riccobene and that we do not owe anything. I have also gotten collection notices from Riccobene, but when I called and asked they had not filed the insurance claims. This sort of thing happens often, and they are now asking patients to leave a credit card on file so they can charge it without our knowing. After many years of dealing with this we are fed up and plan to seek out a new dentist. it is a shame because their dental services are very good.
