This local gas station and quick market is a Kenosha staple. The prominent corner has always had a…read moregas station. Lou Perrine's is keeping that tradition. The gas pump area is super clean and maintained well. Inside is orderly too. I needed to get gas and remembered they offer the famous HoHo cakes. So, after filling up, I ran inside to get the sweet treat for my sister. The Mama P's selection was plentiful but not very diverse. They were all chocolate based except for the animal cracker. It was so cute with pink cake and a pink animal cracker on top. I also chose the chocolate and peanut butter. I wish they had more non-chocolate options such as lemon etc. They were delicious just the same. Once you check in on Yelp, you receive an offer for a free bottle of water. The young girl at the desk was very confused and went to get another person for help. That girl looked at my phone and said, "we don't do that". When I said I think they do she agreed. It seemed like since she wasn't sure how to process the Yelp offer, she just wanted to refuse it. Then I realize it is Kenosha Restaurant Week. More confusion ensued on the price of my HoHo cakes, the only item they offered on Restaurant Week. I love that Lou Perrine's participated in Yelp and Restaurant Week. I just wish the staff is better trained on things like this.

I stop by in the morning for coffee - they have it brewed fresh each morning with really great options- even my favorite iced coffee! They are great about getting new items in and keeping things up to date. You will always be welcomed by smiling faces and they are always willing to help if you can't find something. I see police officers here a lot (it's near the police station) and I always feel safe if I have to come by late at night. BONUS: they have KRINGLE! And the deliver groceries if you need it. AMAZING. (It looks like they have a low rating currently due to old reviews- with new management, everything has changed!)

It wasn't there for melting ice ,it was as if someone spilled it . I was using a credit card ,so I didn't have to go in but I thought maybe someone else could really be hurt as the pumps are near and also concrete trash cans .There were 2 young men standing near the supply closet and I told them what happened , The guys response was , You should have looked before you got out of the car . I was so surprised by that response ! I would have assumed he would have asked if I was ok .Or said thank you, we will go clean that up immediately . I asked him to repeat himself ,and he said it again . I asked if there was a manager and he said he was the owner .I said that the salt should be swept up ,he claimed it was not possible .I then proceeded to go outside and use the Speedy rewards card to easily sweep up a portion of salt to show him . So just letting everyone know that the owner of the Speedway on 80 th and Sheridan does not care if you are injured getting out of your car for gas .I did call corporate and wage a complaint as well .Thanks for listening ,I just want people to know be aware when getting gas there as they do not care about their customers safety .

I did not want to come back with something that wasn't what I wanted. Apparently management doesn't like you to check out what you are getting ready to purchase. I was confronted by a manager with an attitude towards me as if I was his biggest pain in the butt for the day, his name is Brian. He was not nice to me at all. Brian treated me as if I was like thief or something because I opened the package to see the contents to make sure those were exactly what I wanted and sadly enough because he treated me in that manner I didn't not purchase what I intended to because of how he made me feel. This is bad customer service and terrible customer care or support. The ONLY GOOD THING IS: Is that the pharmacy is open 24/7. My experience was very poor and I would not recommend anyone to go inside and look to buy anything.
